أعلنت السلطات الليبية أن 11 مهاجراً سودانياً وسائقاً ليبياً لقوا مصرعهم صباح اليوم (الجمعة) في حادثة تصادم بصحراء ليبيا، في مأساة جديدة لسودانيين فارين من الحرب الأهلية المتواصلة.
وأفاد جهاز الإسعاف والطوارئ في منطقة الكُفرة في ليبيا في بيان بأن حادثة التصادم بين سيارة المهاجرين وشاحنة كبيرة وقعت على الطريق العام على مسافة 90 كيلومترا من شمال الكفرة. وقال مدير جهاز الإسعاف والطوارئ إبراهيم أبو الحسن إن 3 نساء وطفلين بين الضحايا. ولفت إلى أن رجلاً، يبلغ من العمر 65 عاماً، وابنه البالغ 10 أعوام، أُصيبا أيضاً في الحادثة.
يذكر أنه تم العثور أوائل شهر مايو الجاري على 7 سودانيين قد فارقوا الحياة بعدما تعطلت سيارتهم في قلب الصحراء، قرب مكان يستخدمه المهربون بين تشاد وليبيا، ما أسفر عن تقطع السبل بـ34 سائحاً كانوا على متنها لعدة أيام في الصحراء.

The Libyan authorities announced that 11 Sudanese migrants and a Libyan driver lost their lives this morning (Friday) in a collision in the Libyan desert, marking a new tragedy for Sudanese fleeing the ongoing civil war.
The Emergency and Ambulance Service in the Kufra region of Libya stated in a report that the collision between the migrants' vehicle and a large truck occurred on the main road, 90 kilometers north of Kufra. Ibrahim Abu Al-Hassan, the director of the Emergency and Ambulance Service, noted that there were 3 women and 2 children among the victims. He pointed out that a 65-year-old man and his 10-year-old son were also injured in the incident.
It is worth mentioning that early this May, 7 Sudanese were found dead after their vehicle broke down in the heart of the desert, near a location used by traffickers between Chad and Libya, which left 34 tourists stranded for several days in the desert.
