تُوج فريق اتحاد العاصمة الجزائري بلقب بطولة الكونفدرالية الأفريقية للمرة الثانية في تاريخه، عقب تغلبه على الزمالك المصري بركلات الترجيح 8-7، في إياب النهائي على استاد القاهرة الدولي، أمس (السبت).
وكان اتحاد العاصمة قد حسم لقاء الذهاب بهدف نظيف، سجله أحمد خالدي في الدقيقة 90+8 من ركلة جزاء.
تفوق زملكاوي مبكر
دخل الزمالك لقاء الإياب ضاغطاً، ونجح في الحصول على ركلة جزاء، ترجمها المهاجم الفلسطيني عدي الدباغ بتسديدة على يمين حارس مرمى اتحاد العاصمة في الدقيقة الخامسة.
وواصل «الفارس الأبيض» سيطرته في الدقائق الأولى، بهز الشباك مجدداً في الدقيقة 15 عن طريق محمد إسماعيل، لكن حكم اللقاء ألغى الهدف بداعي التسلل.
أفضلية جزائرية في الشوط الثاني
وشهد الشوط الثاني أفضلية جزائرية، إذ كان اتحاد العاصمة أكثر خطورة، وأهدر أكثر من فرصة لإدراك التعادل.
ركلات الترجيح تبتسم لاتحاد العاصمة
ولجأ الفريقان إلى ركلات الترجيح التي ابتسمت لصالح اتحاد العاصمة، بعدما أضاع لاعب الزمالك محمد شحاتة الركلة الثامنة، ليمنح الفرصة لجلودي ليكونزا الذي نجح في تسجيل الركلة الحاسمة، ويقود الفريق الجزائري إلى التتويج باللقب.
The Algerian team CR Belouizdad was crowned the African Confederation Cup champion for the second time in its history, after defeating the Egyptian team Zamalek in a penalty shootout 8-7, in the second leg of the final at Cairo International Stadium yesterday (Saturday).
CR Belouizdad had secured the first leg with a clean goal, scored by Ahmed Khaldi in the 90+8 minute from a penalty kick.
Early Zamalek Dominance
Zamalek entered the second leg with pressure, successfully obtaining a penalty kick, which was converted by Palestinian striker Oday Al-Dabbagh with a shot to the right of the CR Belouizdad goalkeeper in the fifth minute.
The "White Knight" continued to dominate in the early minutes, finding the net again in the 15th minute through Mohamed Ismail, but the referee disallowed the goal for offside.
Algerian Advantage in the Second Half
The second half saw an Algerian advantage, as CR Belouizdad was more dangerous and missed several opportunities to equalize.
Pens Favor CR Belouizdad
Both teams resorted to penalties, which favored CR Belouizdad after Zamalek player Mohamed Shehata missed the eighth penalty, giving the chance to Jloudi Likonza, who successfully scored the decisive penalty, leading the Algerian team to claim the title.
