أصدرت المحكمة الجنائية الدولية في لاهاي مذكرات اعتقال سرية بحق عدد من المسؤولين الإسرائيليين، بينهم سياسيون وعسكريون،على خلفية اتهامات تتعلق بجرائم حرب وجرائم ضد الإنسانية خلال الحرب على قطاع غزة، بحسب ما أفادت صحيفة هآرتس اليوم الأحد.
ونقلت الصحيفة عن مصدر دبلوماسي مطلع أن المذكرات صدرت بحق ثلاثة سياسيين إسرائيليين واثنين من المسؤولين العسكريين، دون كشف هوياتهم أو الموعد الدقيق لإصدارها. وتأتي هذه المذكرات السرية ضمن التحقيقات الجارية للمحكمة في الوضع في فلسطين، مع التركيز على عمليات في غزة.
وفقاً للتقرير، تبقى تفاصيل المذكرات سرية لحماية الشهود وضمان سير التحقيقات، وهو إجراء شائع في مثل هذه القضايا الحساسة، ويُعتقد أنها توسع نطاق الملاحقات الدولية التي بدأت بمذكرات الاعتقال العلنية الصادرة في نوفمبر 2024 بحق رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو ووزير الدفاع السابق يوآف غالانت، بتهم تشمل استخدام التجويع كوسيلة حرب، والقتل، والاضطهاد، وأفعال أخرى غير إنسانية.
وفتحت المحكمة الجنائية الدولية تحقيقاً رسمياً في الوضع في فلسطين منذ مارس 2021، يغطي الأحداث في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة، بما في ذلك الحرب التي اندلعت في أكتوبر 2023.
وفي مايو 2024، قدم المدعي العام السابق كريم خان طلبات لإصدار مذكرات اعتقال بحق قادة إسرائيليين وحماسيين. وفي نوفمبر 2024، أصدرت الدائرة التمهيدية مذكرات بحق نتنياهو وغالانت (وآخرين من حماس).
وترفض إسرائيل، التي ليست عضواً في المحكمة، اختصاصها وتصف الإجراءات بأنها «معادية» و«سياسية» أما السلطة الفلسطينية فقد انضمت إلى المحكمة عام 2015.
The International Criminal Court in The Hague has issued secret arrest warrants against a number of Israeli officials, including politicians and military personnel, in connection with allegations of war crimes and crimes against humanity during the war on the Gaza Strip, according to the Haaretz newspaper on Sunday.
The newspaper quoted a diplomatic source familiar with the matter as saying that the warrants were issued against three Israeli politicians and two military officials, without revealing their identities or the exact date of issuance. These secret warrants are part of the ongoing investigations by the court into the situation in Palestine, focusing on operations in Gaza.
According to the report, the details of the warrants remain confidential to protect witnesses and ensure the integrity of the investigations, a common procedure in such sensitive cases. It is believed that this expands the scope of international prosecutions that began with the public arrest warrants issued in November 2024 against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, on charges including the use of starvation as a method of warfare, murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts.
The International Criminal Court opened a formal investigation into the situation in Palestine in March 2021, covering events in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including the war that erupted in October 2023.
In May 2024, former Prosecutor Karim Khan submitted requests for the issuance of arrest warrants against Israeli and Hamas leaders. In November 2024, the Pre-Trial Chamber issued warrants against Netanyahu and Galant (and others from Hamas).
Israel, which is not a member of the court, rejects its jurisdiction and describes the proceedings as "hostile" and "political," while the Palestinian Authority joined the court in 2015.
