بالتزامن مع المحادثات المباشرة التي انطلقت في إسطنبول بين الروس والأوكرانيين بمشاركة وفد أمريكي، أعلن سلاح الجو الأوكراني أنه فقد طائرة مقاتلة من طراز «إف-16» اليوم (الجمعة)، في حادثة هي الثالثة من نوعها بعد تسلم كييف هذه الطائرات المقاتلة من حلفائها العام الماضي. وأفاد بأن الطيار تمكن من القفز بالمظلة بسلام بعد حادثة وقعت على متن المقاتلة، من دون أن يقدم مزيداً من التفاصيل.
وقال إن الحادثة لا تبدو أنها ناجمة عن نيران روسية، وتم تكليف لجنة للتحقيق في جميع الملابسات.
يذكر أن هذه الحادثة هي الثالثة لطائرة «إف-16» منذ أن بدأت كييف في استلامها من حلفاء الولايات المتحدة العام الماضي في إطار برنامج وافقت عليه إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي السابق جو بايدن.
وفي أواخر أغسطس الماضي تحطمت طائرة «إف-16»، ولقي قائدها حتفه أثناء تصديه لغارة جوية روسية كبيرة. وأعلنت كييف مقتل طيار كان يقود مقاتلة «إف-16» أثناء مهمة في منتصف أبريل الماضي، وأكدت موسكو إسقاط الطائرة.
ولم تفصح أوكرانيا عن عدد طائرات «إف-16» التي تلقتها حتى الآن، لكنها تستخدمها بشكل رئيسي لصد الصواريخ الروسية وهجمات الطائرات المسيّرة.
من جهتها، أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الروسية السيطرة على بلدة جديدة في دونيتسك، مؤكدة أن مجموعة قوات «دنيبر» قامت بتحييد نحو 380 جندياً و5 مستودعات ذخيرة خلال أسبوع. وحول خسائر القوات الأوكرانية، قدرت وزارة الدفاع بأنها بلغت نحو 1130 عسكرياً، إضافةً إلى تدمير 15 مركبة قتالية مدرعة.
وذكرت في بيان لها، اليوم، أن خسائر القوات الأوكرانية أكثر من 1130 جندياً، و15 مركبة قتالية مدرعة، و41 سيارة، و22 مدفعاً ميدانياً، و5 محطات حرب إلكترونية ومحطات مضادة للبطاريات. وأكد البيان أن مجموعة قوات «الشمال» حيدت أكثر من 1330 جندياً اوكرانياً، و7 مستودعات ذخيرة خلال الأسبوع الماضي.

Regarding the losses of Ukrainian forces, the Ministry of Defense estimated them at around 1,130 military personnel, in addition to the destruction of 15 armored combat vehicles.
