تأهل منتخب جنوب إفريقيا إلى دور الـ32 من بطولة كأس العالم 2026 لكرة القدم، بعد فوزه على نظيره الكوري الجنوبي بهدف دون رد، في المباراة التي جمعتهما اليوم ضمن الجولة الثالثة والأخيرة من منافسات المجموعة الأولى.
ودخل المنتخبان اللقاء بشعار الفوز من أجل حسم بطاقة التأهل، وشهد الشوط الأول محاولات متبادلة من الجانبين، دون أن ينجح أي منهما في هز الشباك، لينتهي بالتعادل السلبي.
وفي الشوط الثاني، نجح منتخب جنوب إفريقيا في تسجيل هدف المباراة الوحيد في الدقيقة الـ63، بعدما أنهى تابيلو ماسيكو هجمة مرتدة سريعة بتسديدة قوية من داخل منطقة الجزاء، إثر تمريرة من تسيبانغ موريمي، ليمنح منتخب بلاده فوزا ثمينا.
وحافظ المنتخب الجنوب إفريقي على تقدمه حتى صافرة النهاية بفضل التنظيم الدفاعي وتألق حارسه رونفين ويليامز، ليرفع رصيده إلى أربع نقاط، ويتقدم إلى المركز الثاني في المجموعة الأولى، بفارق نقطة واحدة أمام منتخب كوريا الجنوبية، الذي تجمد رصيده عند ثلاث نقاط.
وبهذا الفوز، بلغ منتخب جنوب إفريقيا الأدوار الإقصائية في كأس العالم للمرة الأولى في تاريخه، بعدما ودع البطولة من دور المجموعات في مشاركاته الثلاث السابقة.
ومن المقرر أن يلتقي منتخب جنوب إفريقيا نظيره الكندي في دور الـ32 يوم الأحد القادم، فيما ينتظر منتخب كوريا الجنوبية نتائج بقية المجموعات لمعرفة مصيره في المنافسة على إحدى بطاقات أفضل ثمانية منتخبات تحتل المركز الثالث.

The South African team maintained their lead until the final whistle thanks to their defensive organization and the brilliance of their goalkeeper Ronwen Williams, raising their points total to four and moving into second place in Group A, one point ahead of the South Korean team, which remained at three points.
With this victory, the South African team reached the knockout stages of the World Cup for the first time in its history, having exited the tournament in the group stage in its previous three appearances.
The South African team is scheduled to face the Canadian team in the Round of 32 next Sunday, while the South Korean team awaits the results of the other groups to determine its fate in the competition for one of the spots for the best eight teams that finish in third place.
