تمكّنت القوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي، وهي تؤدي مهماتها في تنفيذ نظام البيئة، من ضبط 3 مواطنين مخالفين لنظام البيئة؛ لارتكابهم مخالفة الشروع في الصيد دون ترخيص في محمية الإمام فيصل بن تركي الملكية، بحوزتهم 3 بنادق هوائية و740 ذخيرة منوعة، وطُبقت الإجراءات النظامية بحقهم.
وشدّدت القوات على الالتزام بنظام البيئة ولوائحه التنفيذية التي تجرّم صيد الكائنات الفطرية، مؤكدةً أن عقوبة الصيد في أماكن محظور الصيد فيها غرامة (5,000) ريال، وعقوبة الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة (10,000) ريال.
وأهابت في الوقت ذاته بالمبادرة بالإبلاغ عن أي حالات تمثّل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية، وذلك بالاتصال بالرقم (911) بمناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) و(996) في بقية مناطق المملكة، وستعامل جميع البلاغات بسرية تامة دون أدنى مسؤولية على المبلّغ.
The special forces for environmental security, while carrying out their mission to implement the environmental system, managed to apprehend 3 citizens violating the environmental system for attempting to hunt without a license in the Imam Faisal bin Turki Royal Reserve, in possession of 3 air rifles and 740 assorted ammunition, and legal procedures were applied against them.
The forces emphasized the importance of adhering to the environmental system and its executive regulations, which criminalize the hunting of wildlife, confirming that the penalty for hunting in prohibited areas is a fine of (5,000) riyals, and the penalty for hunting without a license is a fine of (10,000) riyals.
At the same time, they urged the public to report any cases that represent a violation of the environment or wildlife, by calling the number (911) in the regions of Makkah, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, assuring that all reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any liability on the reporter.
