وقّع الرئيس التنفيذي للصندوق السعودي للتنمية سلطان بن عبدالرحمن المرشد، اليوم، مع وزير المالية في الجمهورية القرغيزية باكيتاييف ألماز، اتفاقية تنموية لتمويل المرحلة الثانية من مشروع تشييد مدارس حكومية في مختلف المناطق القرغيزية، عبر قرض تنموي يقدّمه الصندوق بقيمة 50 مليون دولار، بحضور سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الجمهورية القرغيزية إبراهيم بن راضي الراضي.
ويهدف المشروع إلى تعزيز الوصول للتعليم وتكافؤ الفرص، ومواجهة التحديات في الأعداد المتزايدة، من خلال إنشاء 14 مدرسة حديثة بطاقة استيعابية تصل إلى 14 ألف طالب وطالبة، وتزويدها بالمعدات والتجهيزات التعليمية اللازمة، امتدادا للمرحلة الأولى التي شملت 30 مدرسة يستفيد منها أكثر من 50 ألف طالب وطالبة سنويا في مختلف المناطق، بما يسهم في تطوير قطاع التعليم العام وتحسين جودة البيئة التعليمية في الجمهورية القرغيزية.
ويأتي هذا المشروع في إطار جهود الصندوق السعودي للتنمية في دعم قطاع التعليم ضمن نشاطه الإنمائي في الدول النامية نحو الإسهام في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، إذ قدّم الصندوق منذ عام 2011م للجمهورية القرغيزية 11 قرضا تنمويا لتمويل 11 مشروعا وبرنامجا إنمائيا في مختلف القطاعات التنموية بقيمة تصل إلى 380 مليون دولار، إضافة إلى منحة مقدمة من المملكة العربية السعودية من خلال الصندوق لتجهيز عدد من المراكز الطبية بقيمة 3.8 مليون دولار، للإسهام في تعزيز النمو الاجتماعي والازدهار الاقتصادي.
The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid, today signed a development agreement with the Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakitaev Almaz, to finance the second phase of the project to build public schools in various Kyrgyz regions, through a development loan provided by the fund amounting to 50 million dollars, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kyrgyz Republic, Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi.
The project aims to enhance access to education and equal opportunities, and to address the challenges posed by the increasing numbers, by establishing 14 modern schools with a capacity of up to 14,000 students, and equipping them with the necessary educational tools and facilities. This extends from the first phase, which included 30 schools benefiting more than 50,000 students annually in various regions, contributing to the development of the public education sector and improving the quality of the educational environment in the Kyrgyz Republic.
This project is part of the efforts of the Saudi Fund for Development to support the education sector within its developmental activities in developing countries, contributing to achieving sustainable development. Since 2011, the fund has provided the Kyrgyz Republic with 11 development loans to finance 11 projects and development programs in various developmental sectors, amounting to 380 million dollars, in addition to a grant provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the fund to equip several medical centers worth 3.8 million dollars, to contribute to enhancing social growth and economic prosperity.
