التقى المستشار بالديوان الملكي المشرف العام على مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية الدكتور عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة، في مقر المركز بالرياض اليوم، وكيل الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة للشؤون الإنسانية منسق الإغاثة في حالات الطوارئ توم فليتشر.
وشهد اللقاء مناقشة الشراكة الإستراتيجية والعلاقة الوثيقة التي تجمع بين المركز وأجهزة الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها وأجهزتها المتخصصة، وبحث التطورات الراهنة على الصعيد الإنساني في العالم.
وثمّن توم فليتشر الدور الإنساني البارز الذي تضطلع به المملكة من خلال مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة ومدها يد العون للمحتاجين في دول العالم.
The advisor at the Royal Court, the General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiah, met today at the center's headquarters in Riyadh with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Tom Fletcher.
The meeting witnessed discussions on the strategic partnership and the close relationship between the center and the United Nations and its specialized agencies, as well as current developments in the humanitarian field worldwide.
Tom Fletcher praised the prominent humanitarian role played by the Kingdom through the King Salman Center for Relief and its assistance to those in need around the world.
