سجلت المنافذ الجمركية البرية والبحرية والجوية 1,509 حالات ضبط ممنوعات، وذلك في إطار الجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك؛ لتعزيز الجانب الأمني وحماية المجتمع من الممنوعات بمختلف أنواعها وأشكالها.
وشملت الأصناف المضبوطة 105 أصناف من المواد المخدرة، مثل الحشيش، والكوكايين، والهيروين، والشبو، وحبوب الكبتاغون وغيرها، و793 من المواد المحظورة، وشهدت المنافذ الجمركية إحباط 2,689 من التبغ ومشتقاته، و30 صنفاً لمبالغ مالية، وستة أصناف لأسلحة ومستلزماتها.
وأكدت الهيئة أنها ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة؛ تحقيقاً لأمن المجتمع وحمايته، بالتعاون والتنسيق المتواصل مع جميع شركائها من الجهات ذات العلاقة.
ودعت (الهيئة) الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني، وتقوم من خلال القنوات الرسمية باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد وذلك بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.

The land, sea, and air customs outlets recorded 1,509 cases of seized contraband, as part of the ongoing efforts made by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority to enhance security and protect the community from prohibited items in all their forms and types.
The seized items included 105 types of narcotic substances, such as hashish, cocaine, heroin, shabu, Captagon pills, and others, as well as 793 prohibited materials. The customs outlets thwarted 2,689 tobacco and its derivatives, 30 types of monetary amounts, and six types of weapons and their accessories.
The authority confirmed that it is continuing to tighten customs control over the imports and exports of the Kingdom to ensure community security and protection, in continuous cooperation and coordination with all its partners from the relevant authorities.
The (authority) called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect the community and the national economy, and it receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the unified customs system through official channels, ensuring complete confidentiality, with a financial reward granted to the informant if the information provided is accurate.
