تشهد منطقة الحدود الشمالية هذه الأيام مرور أعداد كبيرة من الطيور المهاجرة ضمن مساراتها السنوية، التي تعبر أجواء المملكة قادمة من مناطق التكاثر في الشمال باتجاه مواطنها الشتوية في الجنوب.
ومن بين الأنواع التي رصدت خلال الموسم الحالي، برز طائر بلشون الليل أسود التاج، وهو من فصيلة البلشونيات، يتميز بجسم قوي وريش رمادي وتاج أسود يزين رأسه وأعلى ظهره، ويُعد من الطيور الليلية التي تنشط في الصيد مع حلول الغروب، معتمدة على الأسماك والبرمائيات غذاء رئيسياً لها.
ويؤكّد مرور هذه الطيور الأهمية البيئية للحدود الشمالية، بوصفها جزءاً من مسارات الطيور المهاجرة عالمياً، وتسهم هذه الظاهرة الطبيعية في تعزيز التوازن البيئي والتنوع الحيوي.
ودعت الجهات المختصة المواطنين والزوار إلى المحافظة على بيئات الطيور المهاجرة، وتجنب الصيد أو الممارسات التي قد تؤثر على استقرارها أثناء عبورها، حفاظاً على استدامة هذه الظاهرة الفريدة التي تضيف بعداً بيئياً وجمالياً للمنطقة.
