دشن أمين المنطقة الشرقية المهندس فهد بن محمد الجبير، مساء اليوم (الأحد)، مجسم «وحدة وطن»، بمحافظة الخبر، بحضور رئيس مجلس إدارة المبادرة الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة رتال للتطوير العمراني المهندس عبدالله البريكان، وعدد من قيادات الأمانة، والشخصيات المهمة.
وأثنى أمين المنطقة الشرقية على إسهامات برنامج الفوزان لخدمة المجتمع من خلال مسابقة مجسم وطن التي تميزت في تحسين المشهد البصري للمدن، وقال الجبير إن المسابقة تتعدى كونها مبادرة مجتمعية فهي تعد مشروعاً حيوياً تنموياً أحدث نقلة نوعية في تنفيذ تصاميم معالم المدينة وإثراء ثقافة المجسمات في الأماكن العامة التي اعتبرها نقلة نوعية في إبراز وخلق بيئة تنافسية للتعبير عن حب الوطن بمجسمات ملفتة وملهمة، مؤكداً أن هذه النجاحات غير مستغربة على هذه المبادرة النوعية التي لمسنا أثرها المميز خلال المواسم السابقة والتي شهدنا خلالها العديد من التصاميم الجمالية.
وأعرب المهندس فهد الجبير عن سعادته بهذا الإنجاز مقدراً المساهمة من شركات القطاع الخاص والشراكة التكاملية التنموية بين الجهات التي تسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة، منوها إلى أهمية وأثر مبادرة مجسم وطن التي تعمل على تحفيز المبدعين والحث على الابتكار وتعزيز التنافسية وتشجيع الإبداع.
وتقدم رئيس مجلس إدارة مبادرة مجسم وطن عبدالله الفوزان بالشكر للشركاء في القطاع الخاص والعام وجميع الجهات التي ساهمت في نشر الوعي الثقافي ورفع الذائقة المجتمعية تجاه الموروث التاريخي والتراث المعماري، مؤكداً أن المبادرة أصبحت علامة فارقة في رسم ملامح معمارية ابتكارية لمعالم المدن.
وأضاف الفوزان: نتطلع إلى مواصلة العطاء بازدهار وتفانٍ وإثراء، ما يُعزز مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 لبناء مجتمع واعٍ، مشارك، ومؤثر في مسيرة التنمية الوطنية.
فيما قال المهندس عبدالله البريكان: نؤكد في «رتال» التزامنا الدائم بأن نكون شركاء فاعلين في التنمية، ليس فقط عبر مشاريعنا العمرانية بل أيضاً من خلال مبادراتنا المجتمعية لتحقيق جودة حياة تُجسد تطلعات رؤية السعودية الطموحة.
بدوره قال مدير عمليات مجسم وطن المهندس محمد الغنيمي: بتعاوننا تكاملت الرؤى وصنعنا الإنجاز، وبشراكاتنا المستمرة نمضي بثبات نحو نجاحات أكبر، هذه المجسمات ليست مجرد أعمال فنية، بل معالم مستقبلية ستُخلّد في ذاكرة المكان، وتُسهم في إثراء الهوية البصرية والثقافية.
ويجسد مجسم «وحدة وطن» رواية تحكي وقفات المغفور له -بإذن الله- الملك عبدالعزيز في انطلاق رحلة توحيد المملكة تحت راية واحدة، ممثلة بـ10 صفحات في كل منها توقيعه «الواثق بالودود عبدالعزيز آل سعود» فيما تبلغ مساحة المجسم 2184 متراً مربعاً ويقع عند تقاطع طريق خادم الحرمين الشريفين مع طريق الأمير تركي في مدينة الخبر وهو إهداء من شركة «رتال» للتطوير العمراني.
وتعد مبادرة مجسم وطن، إحدى مبادرات الفوزان لخدمة المجتمع السنوية لاختيار أجمل الأعمال الفنية والهندسية، ليتم تدشينها في أحد الميادين أو الأماكن العامة في اليوم الوطني ويوم التأسيس، وانطلقت في العام 2018 ونفذت حتى الآن 8 مجسمات ساهمت في تغيير المشهد الحضري وتعزيز الهوية الجمالية للمدن، فيما شهدت النسخة السابعة نقلة نوعية إذ أتيحت فرصة المشاركة للموهوبين من جميع دول العالم وانطلقت تحت شعار (الإلهام حولك) وسيعلن عن الفائزين فيها خلال الفترة القريبة القادمة.
The Eastern Province Secretary, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Jubair, inaugurated the "Unity of the Nation" sculpture this evening (Sunday) in the city of Khobar, in the presence of the Chairman of the Initiative's Board of Directors and CEO of Rital Urban Development Company, Engineer Abdullah Al-Buraikan, along with several leaders from the secretariat and important figures.
The Eastern Province Secretary praised the contributions of the Al-Fawzan Program for Community Service through the National Sculpture Competition, which has excelled in enhancing the visual landscape of cities. Al-Jubair stated that the competition goes beyond being a community initiative; it is a vital developmental project that has brought about a qualitative shift in the implementation of city landmark designs and enriched the culture of sculptures in public places, which he considers a significant advancement in highlighting and creating a competitive environment to express love for the nation through striking and inspiring sculptures. He emphasized that these successes are not surprising for this qualitative initiative, which we have felt its remarkable impact during previous seasons, where we witnessed many aesthetic designs.
Engineer Fahd Al-Jubair expressed his happiness with this achievement, appreciating the contributions from private sector companies and the integrated developmental partnership among entities that contribute to improving the quality of life. He pointed out the importance and impact of the National Sculpture Initiative, which works to stimulate creativity, encourage innovation, enhance competitiveness, and promote creativity.
Chairman of the National Sculpture Initiative, Abdullah Al-Fawzan, thanked the partners in the public and private sectors and all the entities that contributed to raising cultural awareness and enhancing the community's appreciation for historical heritage and architectural heritage, affirming that the initiative has become a distinctive mark in shaping innovative architectural features for city landmarks.
Al-Fawzan added: We look forward to continuing our contributions with prosperity, dedication, and enrichment, which enhances the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build an aware, participatory, and influential community in the national development journey.
Engineer Abdullah Al-Buraikan stated: At "Rital," we reaffirm our ongoing commitment to being active partners in development, not only through our urban projects but also through our community initiatives to achieve a quality of life that embodies the aspirations of the ambitious Saudi Vision.
For his part, the Operations Director of the National Sculpture Initiative, Engineer Mohammed Al-Ghneimi, said: Through our collaboration, we have integrated visions and achieved success, and with our ongoing partnerships, we are steadily moving towards greater successes. These sculptures are not just artistic works; they are future landmarks that will be immortalized in the memory of the place and contribute to enriching the visual and cultural identity.
The "Unity of the Nation" sculpture embodies a narrative telling the story of the late King Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, during the launch of the journey to unify the Kingdom under one banner, represented by 10 pages, each bearing his signature, "The Confident and Affectionate Abdulaziz Al Saud." The sculpture covers an area of 2,184 square meters and is located at the intersection of King Abdulaziz Road and Prince Turki Road in Khobar, and it is a gift from Rital Urban Development Company.
The National Sculpture Initiative is one of the annual Al-Fawzan initiatives for community service to select the most beautiful artistic and engineering works, to be inaugurated in one of the squares or public places on National Day and Founding Day. It started in 2018 and has implemented 8 sculptures so far, contributing to changing the urban landscape and enhancing the aesthetic identity of cities, while the seventh edition witnessed a qualitative shift as it allowed talented individuals from all over the world to participate under the slogan (Inspiration Around You), and the winners will be announced in the near future.
