نيابة عن وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، شارك وكيل وزارة الخارجية للشؤون الدولية المتعددة والمشرف العام على وكالة الوزارة لشؤون الدبلوماسية العامة الدكتور عبدالرحمن الرسي، في الاجتماع التشاوري السنوي لجامعة الدول العربية، على هامش أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الثمانين.
وجرى خلال الاجتماع بحث سبل تعزيز العمل العربي المشترك، وتكثيف التنسيق المتعدد الأطراف في القضايا الإقليمية والدولية، كما تطرق الاجتماع إلى تطورات قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية والجهود المبذولة لوقف إطلاق النار وتدفق المزيد من المساعدات الإنسانية.
On behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral International Affairs and the General Supervisor of the Ministry's Public Diplomacy Agency, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, participated in the annual consultative meeting of the Arab League, held on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, ways to enhance joint Arab action and intensify multilateral coordination on regional and international issues were discussed. The meeting also addressed developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as the efforts being made to achieve a ceasefire and facilitate the flow of more humanitarian aid.
