وصل اليوم 30 طالباً وطالبة من خريجي الجامعات السعودية إلى العاصمة البريطانية لندن، للمشاركة في «معسكر هندسة تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي» الذي أطلقته الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) بالتعاون مع جامعة أكسفورد، ويستمر حتى التاسع من أكتوبر 2025.
ويهدف المعسكر إلى تأهيل خريجي البكالوريوس والماجستير في تخصصات الذكاء الاصطناعي وعلوم الحاسب والمجالات المرتبطة بها، من خلال تزويدهم بمهارات متقدمة في الرؤية الحاسوبية، والتعلم العميق، والنماذج التوليدية، بإشراف خبراء دوليين، وتمكينهم من تصميم وتطوير نماذج ذكاء اصطناعي قابلة للتطبيق في بيئات العمل المختلفة.
ويتضمن البرنامج التدريبي مرحلتين، بدأت الأولى عن بُعد، فيما تُعقد المرحلة الثانية حالياً في جامعة أكسفورد على مدى 3 أسابيع، يكتسب خلالها المشاركون خبرات عملية في استخدام أُطر التعلم العميق مثل (TensorFlow وPyTorch) بكفاءة عالية، وتطبيقات الرؤية الحاسوبية المتقدمة، ومعالجة اللغة الطبيعية (NLP) والنماذج التوليدية، إضافة إلى اكتساب مهارات متقدمة في استخدم تقنيات (YOLO وHugging Face).
ويأتي هذا المعسكر ضمن جهود «سدايا» لبناء القدرات الوطنية وصناعة جيل سعودي مؤهل في تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، من خلال شراكات دولية مع أبرز الجامعات العالمية، بما يسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات التحول الرقمي لرؤية المملكة 2030 وإيجاد جيل سعودي منافس لنظرائه في العالم.
Today, 30 male and female students from Saudi universities arrived in the British capital, London, to participate in the "Artificial Intelligence Applications Engineering Camp" launched by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in collaboration with the University of Oxford, which will continue until October 9, 2025.
The camp aims to qualify bachelor's and master's graduates in artificial intelligence, computer science, and related fields by providing them with advanced skills in computer vision, deep learning, and generative models, under the supervision of international experts, enabling them to design and develop practical artificial intelligence models applicable in various work environments.
The training program consists of two phases, with the first phase conducted remotely, while the second phase is currently taking place at the University of Oxford over a period of 3 weeks, during which participants gain practical experience in using deep learning frameworks such as (TensorFlow and PyTorch) with high efficiency, advanced computer vision applications, natural language processing (NLP), and generative models, in addition to acquiring advanced skills in using techniques like (YOLO and Hugging Face).
This camp is part of SDAIA's efforts to build national capabilities and create a qualified Saudi generation in artificial intelligence technologies through international partnerships with leading global universities, contributing to achieving the digital transformation goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and fostering a competitive Saudi generation compared to their peers worldwide.
