أدانَتْ رابطةُ العالم الإسلامي، بأشدِّ العبارات، الاستهدافَ المروِّع لأحد مساجد مدينة الفاشر بجمهورية السودان، الذي أسفر عن سقوط عشرات الضحايا من المدنيين.
ونددت الرابطة في بيانٍ صادرٍ عن الأمانة العامة بهذا الاعتداء الغادر الذي يُمثِّلُ انتهاكا صارخا لكلِّ القوانين والأعراف الدوليّة، مجدِّدة تأكيدها ضرورة الالتزام بالقيم الأخلاقية، والقوانين الدولية، ومضامين «إعلان جدة» بشأن حماية المدنيين والمرافِق المدنيّة.
كما جدَّدت الرابطةُ تأكيدَ وقوفها الدائم مع الشَّعب السودانيِّ وتسخيرِ جميع إمكاناتها للتخفيف من معاناته.
The Muslim World League condemned, in the strongest terms, the horrific targeting of a mosque in the city of El Fasher in the Republic of Sudan, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of civilian victims.
The League denounced this treacherous attack in a statement issued by its General Secretariat, which represents a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, reiterating its commitment to upholding ethical values, international laws, and the provisions of the "Jeddah Declaration" regarding the protection of civilians and civilian facilities.
The League also reaffirmed its constant support for the Sudanese people and its commitment to utilizing all its resources to alleviate their suffering.
