تمكنت الدوريات الميدانية للقوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي وهي تؤدي مهماتها في تنفيذ نظام البيئة في محمية الملك سلمان الملكية، من القبض على (5) مواطنين ومقيمين من الجنسيتين البنغلادشية و الباكستانية وهم فوزي عائش الفهيقي، وخالد مناور الرشيدي، والحميدي عبدالله الرشيدي، ومحمد طليحان العنزي، وموسى مناور الرشيدي، والمقير حسبن باتواري، وإعجاز علي قاسم، لارتكابهم مخالفة الصيد دون ترخيص، وبحوزتهم (4) بنادق شوزن و(4) بنادق هوائية و(2,800) ذخيرة متنوعة، و(1530) طيرًا نافقًا متنوعًا، و(8) شباك صيد، و(3) أجهزة جذب الطيور، وطائرة دون طيار (درون) دون ترخيص، وجرى إيقافهم واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية بحقهم، وإحالتهم إلى الجهة المختصة.
وشددت القوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي على الالتزام بنظام البيئة ولوائحه التنفيذية، التي تحظر صيد الكائنات الفطرية، مؤكدةً أن عقوبة الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة (10,000) ريال، وعقوبة الصيد في أماكن محظور الصيد فيها غرامة (5,000) ريال، وعقوبة صيد طائر الدّخل دون ترخيص غرامة (5,000) ريال، وعقوبة استخدام أجهزة جذب الطيور غرامة (50,000) ريال، وعقوبة استخدام بنادق الشوزن في الصيد غرامة (100,000) ريال، وعقوبة استخدام الشباك والمصايد والأشراك مخالفة تبلغ غرامتها (100,000) ريال.
وأهابت بالمبادرة بالإبلاغ عن أي حالات تمثل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية، وذلك بالاتصال بالرقم (911) بمناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) و(996) في بقية مناطق المملكة، وستعامل جميع البلاغات بسرية تامة، دون أدنى مسؤولية على المبلّغ.
The field patrols of the Special Forces for Environmental Security, while carrying out their duties in enforcing the Environmental Law in the King Salman Royal Reserve, managed to arrest (5) citizens and residents of Bangladeshi and Pakistani nationalities: Fawzi Ayash Al-Fuhaigi, Khalid Manawer Al-Rashidi, Al-Humaidi Abdullah Al-Rashidi, Muhammad Talihan Al-Anzi, Musa Manawer Al-Rashidi, Al-Muqir Hasbun Batwari, and Ijaz Ali Qasim, for committing the offense of hunting without a license. They were found in possession of (4) shotguns, (4) air rifles, (2,800) assorted ammunition, (1,530) various dead birds, (8) fishing nets, (3) bird attraction devices, and an unlicensed drone, and they were detained and legal actions were taken against them, and they were referred to the competent authority.
The Special Forces for Environmental Security emphasized the commitment to the Environmental Law and its executive regulations, which prohibit the hunting of wild creatures. They confirmed that the penalty for hunting without a license is a fine of (10,000) riyals, the penalty for hunting in prohibited areas is a fine of (5,000) riyals, the penalty for hunting the dakhil bird without a license is a fine of (5,000) riyals, the penalty for using bird attraction devices is a fine of (50,000) riyals, the penalty for using shotguns in hunting is a fine of (100,000) riyals, and the penalty for using nets, traps, and snares is a violation with a fine of (100,000) riyals.
They urged the public to report any cases that represent an assault on the environment or wildlife by calling (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality, with no liability on the reporter.
