توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الأحد)، هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة تحد من مدى الرؤية الأفقية على مناطق جازان، عسير، الباحة، مكة المكرمة، وتكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على المدينة المنورة، نجران، الشرقية، الرياض، كما تنشط الرياح السطحية المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على منطقتي تبوك والمدينة المنورة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 18-45 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة مع تشكل السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين يصل إلى أعلى من مترين ونصف مع تشكل السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تشكل السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
أما حركة الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي شمالية على الجزء الشمالي وجنوبية شرقية إلى شمالية شرقية على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي بسرعة 15-38 كم/ساعة, وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Sunday) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will lead to flash floods, accompanied by hail showers and active winds that will limit horizontal visibility in the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah, while being light to moderate in Medina, Najran, the Eastern Province, and Riyadh. Dusty and windy conditions will also be active in the regions of Tabuk and Medina.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 18-45 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part, and wave heights ranging from one to two meters, exceeding two and a half meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. The sea condition is light to moderate with waves becoming choppy due to the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part.
As for the surface wind movement over the Arabian Gulf, it is northerly in the northern part and southeasterly to northeasterly in the central and southern parts at a speed of 15-38 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea condition is light to moderate.
