رعى أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، في ديوان الإمارة، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، حفل تسليم 10 سيارات، بدعم من شركة «جاهز»، لمستفيدي جمعية بناء لرعاية الأيتام بالمنطقة الشرقية، وذلك ضمن مشروع «تاكسي» الذي أطلقته الجمعية لتلبية احتياجات مستفيديها بهدف تحقيق مصادر متنوعة للدخل تؤمن لهم فرص عمل جيدة وحياة كريمة تنعكس على اليتيم وأسرته، بحضور نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة جاهز مشعل المشاري.
ونوّه أمير المنطقة الشرقية بأهمية دعم الشباب وتمكينهم في مختلف المجالات، مشيداً بمشروع «تاكسي» الذي يمثل مبادرة مميزة تسهم في توفير فرص عمل للأيتام والأرامل، وتعكس أثر العمل الخيري التنموي في بناء الإنسان وتعزيز استقراره الأسري والاجتماعي.
واطلع أمير الشرقية على عرض مرئي عن مبادرة «جاهز الخير» التي تم إطلاقها في الحفل السنوي لجمعية «بناء» في رمضان الماضي وأثمرت عن جمع مليون ريال تبرعت بها شركة «جاهز» وعملاؤها للمساهمة في دعم مشروع تاكسي ومشروع كفالة الأيتام.
وأوضح الرئيس التنفيذي لجمعية بناء الدكتور عبدالله الخالدي أن الجمعية أطلقت في عام 2018 مشروع تاكسي، ليكون أكثر من مجرد مبادرة، بل خطوة عملية نحو مستقبل أفضل للأيتام والأرامل برعاية كريمة من الداعم الأول للعمل الخيري أمير المنطقة الشرقية، إذ يمثل المشروع نموذجاً ملهماً للعمل الخيري والتنموي المستدام وينقل المستفيد من الحاجة إلى الاستقلال الاقتصادي والثقة بالمستقبل، لافتاً إلى أن المشروع دليل حي على أن الاستثمار في الإنسان هو أرقى أشكال العطاء، إذ تتحول المساعدة إلى تمكين، والتمكين إلى قصص نجاح تجسد تنمية الإنسان والمكان.
وأضاف أن المشروع بدأ مسيرته بتسليم خمس سيارات للمستفيدين، وواصل رحلته على مدى الأعوام الماضية، ليصل مجموع ما تم تسليمه من سيارات للأيتام في نهاية الربع الأول من العام الحالي 2025، (285) سيارة للأيتام وأمهاتهم، محققاً أثراً ملموساً في حياتهم ومساهماً في تمكينهم، إلى جانب أن المشروع ساهم في مساعدة الأيتام واليتيمات الذين يدرسون بالجامعات في تأمين مواصلاتهم لاستكمال تعليمهم، وتعزيز اعتمادهم على أنفسهم، وبناء ثقتهم بالمستقبل، إضافة إلى المساهمة في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية من خلال عملهم في تطبيقات التوصيل وتوجيه المركبات ليصل متوسط دخل اليتيم 4000 ريال شهرياً.
وقال الخالدي: «إننا نسعد اليوم بتسليم أمير المنطقة الشرقية 10 سيارات لأبنائنا الأيتام بدعم من شركة جاهز، ضمن مبادرة «جاهز الخير» التي أثمرت -وبحمد الله- في الفترة الماضية عن جمع مليون ريال تبرعت بها الشركة وعملاؤها للمساهمة في دعم مشروع تاكسي وكفالة الأيتام»، مقدماً الشكر لأمير المنطقة الشرقية على دعمه للجمعية ولهذا المشروع الذي ساهم في بناء مستقبل الأيتام، ثم سلم أمير الشرقية السيارات للمستفيدين.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, sponsored a ceremony today (Tuesday) at the Emirate's Diwan for the delivery of 10 cars, supported by Jahez Company, to beneficiaries of the Benaa Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province. This is part of the "Taxi" project launched by the association to meet the needs of its beneficiaries, aiming to achieve diverse income sources that provide them with good job opportunities and a decent life that reflects positively on the orphan and their family, in the presence of the Deputy CEO of Jahez, Mishal Al-Mushari.
The Prince of the Eastern Province emphasized the importance of supporting and empowering youth in various fields, praising the "Taxi" project as a distinguished initiative that contributes to providing job opportunities for orphans and widows, reflecting the impact of charitable developmental work in building individuals and enhancing their family and social stability.
The Prince of the Eastern Province was briefed on a visual presentation about the "Jahez Khair" initiative, which was launched at the annual event of the Benaa Association last Ramadan and resulted in raising one million riyals donated by Jahez Company and its clients to support the Taxi project and the sponsorship of orphans.
The CEO of the Benaa Association, Dr. Abdullah Al-Khalidi, explained that the association launched the Taxi project in 2018 to be more than just an initiative, but a practical step towards a better future for orphans and widows, under the generous sponsorship of the primary supporter of charitable work, the Prince of the Eastern Province. The project represents an inspiring model for sustainable charitable and developmental work, transitioning beneficiaries from need to economic independence and confidence in the future. He pointed out that the project is a living proof that investing in people is the highest form of giving, as assistance transforms into empowerment, and empowerment into success stories that embody the development of individuals and places.
He added that the project began its journey by delivering five cars to beneficiaries and continued its path over the past years, reaching a total of 285 cars delivered to orphans and their mothers by the end of the first quarter of the current year 2025. This has had a tangible impact on their lives and contributed to their empowerment. Additionally, the project has helped orphans studying at universities secure their transportation to complete their education, enhance their self-reliance, and build their confidence in the future, in addition to contributing to economic and social development through their work in delivery and vehicle direction applications, resulting in an average monthly income of 4,000 riyals for the orphans.
Al-Khalidi stated: "We are pleased today to deliver 10 cars to our orphaned children with the support of Jahez Company, as part of the 'Jahez Khair' initiative, which has, thank God, in the past period raised one million riyals donated by the company and its clients to support the Taxi project and the sponsorship of orphans." He expressed his gratitude to the Prince of the Eastern Province for his support of the association and this project that has contributed to building the future of orphans, and then the Prince of the Eastern Province handed over the cars to the beneficiaries.
