توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الجمعة) استمرار تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق الرياض، القصيم، والشرقية، مع فرص هطول أمطار خفيفة على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، كذلك على أجزاء من مرتفعات عسير، جازان، ولا يستبعد تكّون الضباب على أجزاء من مرتفعات تلك المناطق. ويطرأ انخفاض في درجات الحرارة مصحوبًا برياح نشطة تحد من مدى الرؤية الأفقية على أجزاء من تبوك، الجوف، والحدود الشمالية.
وأشار التقرير إلى سرعة الرياح شمالية غربية بسرعة 25-55 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، وشمالية غربية تتحول مساءً إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة 12-32 كم/ساعة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من متر ونصف إلى مترين ونصف على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج إلى مائج على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، وخفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الجنوبي.
وفي الخليج العربي، غربية إلى جنوبية غربية تتحول مساءً جنوبية شرقية إلى شرقية بسرعة 10-32 كم/ ساعة على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وارتفاع من نصف المتر إلى متر على الجزء الشمالي، ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج على الجزء الشمالي وخفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الأوسط الجنوبي.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Friday) that the impact of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of the Riyadh, Qassim, and Eastern regions, with chances of light rain in parts of those areas, as well as in parts of the Asir and Jazan highlands. Fog formation in parts of the highlands of those regions is also not ruled out. A decrease in temperatures is expected, accompanied by active winds that will limit horizontal visibility in parts of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders.
The report indicated that wind speeds will be northwesterly at 25-55 km/h in the northern and central parts, shifting to southeasterly at 12-32 km/h in the southern part by evening. Wave heights will range from 1.5 to 2.5 meters in the northern and central parts, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the southern part. The sea condition will be moderate to rough in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate in the southern part.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be westerly to southwesterly, shifting to southeasterly to easterly at 10-32 km/h in the central and southern parts by evening, with wave heights ranging from 0.5 meters to 1 meter in the northern part, and from 0.5 meters to 1.5 meters in the central and southern parts. The sea condition will be light in the northern part and light to moderate in the central and southern parts.
