توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم -بمشيئة الله تعالى- بأن الفرصة مهيأة لهطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار على مناطق جازان، عسير، الباحة، وتكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على مكة المكرمة، كما يستمر تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على مناطق الشرقية، الرياض، نجران، مكة المكرمة، تصل إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على الطريق الساحلي الواصل لجازان، في حين يبقى الطقس حارًا إلى شديد الحرارة على شرق ووسط المملكة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية بسرعة 15-38 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي وشمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة 10-30 كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط وبسرعة 20-48 كم/ساعة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط ومن متر إلى مترين على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج، أما بالنسبة للخليج العربي ستكون حركة الرياح السطحية شمالية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة 20-45 كم/ساعة تصل سرعتها إلى 50 كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today - with God's will - that there is a chance of moderate to heavy thunderstorms leading to flash floods, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring up dust and sand in the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha. The rain will be light to moderate in Mecca, while the effects of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Najran, and Mecca, reaching near-zero visibility on the coastal road leading to Jazan. Meanwhile, the weather remains hot to extremely hot in the eastern and central regions of the Kingdom.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly at a speed of 15-38 km/h in the northern part, northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of 10-30 km/h in the central part, and at a speed of 20-48 km/h in the southern part. The wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from one meter to two meters in the southern part, with the sea condition being light to moderate.
