باشرت أمانة محافظة جدة أعمال إشعارات الإخلاء لعدد من المباني الآيلة للسقوط داخل نطاق حي الرويس، وذلك في إطار جهودها المستمرة؛ لتعزيز مستوى السلامة العامة، وحماية الأرواح والممتلكات من خلال معالجة أوضاع المباني المتهالكة.
وتستهدف المرحلة الحالية أكثر من (800) مبنى رصدتها ميدانيًّا فرق الأمانة، تمهيدًا لاستكمال الإجراءات النظامية بحقها، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية، وتحت إشراف الإدارة العامة للطوارئ والأزمات.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة استكمالًا لما نفذته الأمانة سابقًا في أحياء الفيصلية والربوة والفاروق، التي أسفرت عن إزالة أكثر من (596) مبنى آيلًا للسقوط، ضمن خطة متكاملة لمعالجة الواقع العمراني المتدهور، والارتقاء بجودة المشهد الحضري في محافظة جدة.
وأكّدت الأمانة حرصها على اتباع الإجراءات النظامية المعتمدة، بدءًا من رصد وتوثيق حالة المباني، مرورًا بإشعار الملاك، ومنحهم المهلة النظامية، وصولًا إلى اتخاذ الخطوات اللازمة لمعالجة أوضاعها وفق الأنظمة المعمول بها.
وأوضحت أن هذه الجهود تأتي دعمًا لمستهدفات برنامج «جودة الحياة»، وضمن التزامها بتوفير بيئة عمرانية آمنة ومستدامة، تسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة والارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات البلدية.
The Jeddah Municipality has begun the eviction notification process for several buildings at risk of collapse within the Al-Ruwais neighborhood, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and protect lives and property by addressing the conditions of dilapidated buildings.
The current phase targets more than 800 buildings identified by the municipality's field teams, in preparation for completing the necessary legal procedures in coordination with the relevant authorities and under the supervision of the General Directorate of Emergencies and Crises.
This step follows the municipality's previous actions in the neighborhoods of Al-Faisaliah, Al-Rabwa, and Al-Faruq, which resulted in the removal of more than 596 buildings at risk of collapse, as part of a comprehensive plan to address the deteriorating urban reality and improve the quality of the urban landscape in Jeddah.
The municipality confirmed its commitment to following the approved legal procedures, starting from monitoring and documenting the condition of the buildings, notifying the owners, granting them the legal grace period, and finally taking the necessary steps to address their conditions according to the applicable regulations.
It clarified that these efforts support the objectives of the "Quality of Life" program and are part of its commitment to providing a safe and sustainable urban environment that contributes to improving the quality of life and enhancing the level of municipal services.
