نفّذت الفرق الرقابية بوزارة السياحة زيارات تفتيشية على مكاتب الأنشطة السياحية، بما في ذلك وكالات السفر والسياحة بمدينة الرياض، وذلك ضمن حملة «ضيوفنا أولوية» التي أطلقتها الوزارة بهدف الوقوف على مدى التزام هذه المكاتب بالأنظمة والاشتراطات النظامية المعتمدة في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
وأسفرت الحملة الرقابية في مدينة الرياض عن ضبط (10) مكاتب خدمات سياحية مخالفة، تمثلت أبرز مخالفاتها في مزاولة النشاط دون الحصول على ترخيص من وزارة السياحة، إلى جانب تنظيم حملات عمرة وزيارة مخالفة، بما في ذلك نقل المعتمرين بوسائل نقل غير مرخصة، وتسكينهم في مرافق ضيافة غير نظامية بمكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
وتهدف هذه الحملة التي تأتي في إطار جهود الوزارة المستمرة لحماية حقوق السياح والزوار، وتنظيم عمل مكاتب الخدمات السياحية، إلى ضبط المكاتب التي تمارس الأنشطة السياحية دون الحصول على ترخيص أو التي تخالف طبيعة الأنشطة المحددة في تراخيصها، في خطوة تُجسد حرص الوزارة على ضمان جودة الخدمات المقدمة للمستفيدين، والتصدي للأنشطة المخالفة لنظام السياحة، بما يسهم في تعزيز التجربة السياحية وحفظ حقوق السياح والزوار في مختلف وجهات المملكة.
وأكّدت الوزارة أنها ستُطبق العقوبات النظامية المقررة، التي تشمل فرض غرامة مالية تصل إلى (50) ألف ريال، تتضاعف في حال تكرار المخالفة لتصل إلى مليون ريال، إضافة إلى عقوبة الإغلاق أو الجمع بين العقوبتين على كل مكتب مخالف، داعية مكاتب الخدمات السياحية المرخصة إلى الالتزام بتطبيق الاشتراطات والمتطلبات التي نصّت عليها التراخيص الممنوحة لها.
ودعت وزارة السياحة جميع المستفيدين من الخدمات السياحية إلى الحرص على التعامل مع المكاتب المرخصة والنظامية، حفاظاً على حقوقهم وضماناً لتجربة سياحية آمنة وموثوقة، منوهة بإمكانية الإبلاغ عن أي ملاحظات تتعلق بالخدمات المقدمة في مرافق الضيافة السياحية عبر التواصل مع المركز الموحد للسياحة على الرقم (930).
The regulatory teams at the Ministry of Tourism conducted inspection visits to tourism activity offices, including travel and tourism agencies in Riyadh, as part of the "Our Guests Are a Priority" campaign launched by the ministry to assess the compliance of these offices with the approved regulations and requirements in various regions of the Kingdom.
The regulatory campaign in Riyadh resulted in the detection of (10) violating tourism service offices, with the most notable violations being the operation of activities without obtaining a license from the Ministry of Tourism, in addition to organizing unauthorized Umrah and visit campaigns, including transporting pilgrims using unlicensed means of transport and accommodating them in unregulated hospitality facilities in Mecca and Medina.
This campaign, which is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to protect the rights of tourists and visitors and regulate the work of tourism service offices, aims to control offices that engage in tourism activities without obtaining a license or that violate the nature of the activities specified in their licenses. This step embodies the ministry's commitment to ensuring the quality of services provided to beneficiaries and combating activities that violate tourism regulations, contributing to enhancing the tourism experience and safeguarding the rights of tourists and visitors in various destinations across the Kingdom.
The ministry confirmed that it will implement the prescribed legal penalties, which include imposing a financial fine of up to (50,000) riyals, which will double in case of repeated violations to reach up to one million riyals, in addition to the penalty of closure or a combination of both penalties for each violating office. It called on licensed tourism service offices to adhere to the conditions and requirements stipulated in the licenses granted to them.
The Ministry of Tourism urged all beneficiaries of tourism services to ensure they deal with licensed and regulated offices to protect their rights and guarantee a safe and reliable tourism experience, noting the possibility of reporting any observations related to the services provided in tourism hospitality facilities by contacting the unified tourism center at (930).
