أكد وزير الثقافة رئيس اللجنة الوطنية السعودية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم الأمير بدر بن عبدالله بن فرحان أن استضافة السعودية للنسخة الرابعة من منتدى اليونسكو العالمي لأخلاقيات الذكاء الاصطناعي 2026 تجسد المكانة المتقدمة التي باتت تتبوأها المملكة على الساحة الدولية في دعم الحوار العالمي حول التقنيات الناشئة، وتعكس التزامها الراسخ بتعزيز الاستخدام المسؤول والأخلاقي للذكاء الاصطناعي، بما يخدم الإنسان والتنمية المستدامة.
نموذج متكامل
وأوضح وزير الثقافة أن الشراكة بين الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة (اليونسكو)، إلى جانب التعاون مع المركز الدولي لأبحاث وأخلاقيات الذكاء الاصطناعي (ICAIRE)، تمثل نموذجًا للتكامل الدولي في تطوير السياسات والممارسات المرتبطة بأخلاقيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، وتعزز تبادل الخبرات وبناء القدرات بين مختلف الدول.
وأفاد بأن اللجنة الوطنية السعودية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم تحرص على دعم المبادرات الوطنية التي تعزز حضور المملكة في المنظمات الدولية، وتدعم التعاون مع اليونسكو في المجالات ذات الأولوية، مؤكدًا أن المنتدى سيوفر منصة عالمية تجمع صناع القرار والخبراء والباحثين لتبادل الرؤى وصياغة حلول عملية تسهم في ترسيخ مبادئ الحوكمة الرشيدة للذكاء الاصطناعي.
دور متنامٍ
وأشار وزير الثقافة إلى أن استضافة المنتدى في مدينة الرياض تمثل امتدادًا للدور المتنامي الذي تضطلع به المملكة في دعم المبادرات الدولية النوعية، وترسيخ مكانتها مركزًا عالميًا للحوار والتعاون في مجالات البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، ويعزز الإسهام في بناء مستقبل رقمي أكثر مسؤولية وشمولًا واستدامة.
The Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Saudi National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, confirmed that Saudi Arabia's hosting of the fourth edition of the UNESCO Global Forum on Artificial Intelligence Ethics in 2026 embodies the advanced position that the Kingdom has attained on the international stage in supporting global dialogue on emerging technologies. It reflects its steadfast commitment to promoting the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence for the benefit of humanity and sustainable development.
Integrated Model
The Minister of Culture explained that the partnership between the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), along with cooperation with the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), represents a model of international integration in developing policies and practices related to AI ethics, enhancing the exchange of experiences and building capacities among various countries.
He stated that the Saudi National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science is keen to support national initiatives that enhance the Kingdom's presence in international organizations and support cooperation with UNESCO in priority areas. He emphasized that the forum will provide a global platform that brings together decision-makers, experts, and researchers to exchange insights and formulate practical solutions that contribute to establishing principles of good governance for artificial intelligence.
Growing Role
The Minister of Culture pointed out that hosting the forum in Riyadh represents an extension of the growing role that the Kingdom plays in supporting qualitative international initiatives and establishing its position as a global center for dialogue and cooperation in the fields of data and artificial intelligence, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and enhancing contributions to building a more responsible, inclusive, and sustainable digital future.
