كشف المتحدث باسم المركز الوطني للأرصاد حسين القحطاني لـ«عكاظ»، عن استمرار هطول الأمطار على مناطق المملكة حتى (الخميس) المقبل.
وأضاف: سجّلت محافظة جدة في 5 ساعات أعلى كمية أمطار خصوصاً شمالها، إذ بلغت 135 ملم على ملعب الجوهرة (الإنماء)، ثم مطار الملك عبدالعزيز 51 ملم، وحي البساتين 81 ملم. وأضاف: الأمطار مستمرة من متوسطة إلى غزيرة تشمل معظم مناطق المملكة، وفقاً لتقرير المركز الوطني للأرصاد.
وفيما يخص محافظة ينبع بلغت سرعة الرياح 60 كيلومتراً في الساعة، وكمية الأمطار فيها يوم أمس كانت 41 ملم، وهي تحت المراقبة، وسيصدر المركز الوطني للأرصاد تقريراً تفصيلياً عنها.
وأشار إلى أن جميع مناطق المملكة متأثرة بهطول أمطار متوسطة إلى غزيرة حتى (الخميس). موضحاً أن الحالة المطرية قد تتجدّد بعد يوم الخميس.
The spokesperson for the National Center of Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, revealed to "Okaz" that the rainfall will continue in various regions of the Kingdom until next (Thursday).
He added: The city of Jeddah recorded the highest amount of rainfall in 5 hours, especially in the northern areas, with 135 mm at the Al-Jawhara Stadium (Al-Inma), followed by King Abdulaziz Airport with 51 mm, and Al-Basateen neighborhood with 81 mm. He added: The rain is ongoing, ranging from moderate to heavy, covering most regions of the Kingdom, according to the report from the National Center of Meteorology.
Regarding the city of Yanbu, wind speeds reached 60 kilometers per hour, and the amount of rain there yesterday was 41 mm, and it is under observation, with the National Center of Meteorology set to issue a detailed report about it.
He pointed out that all regions of the Kingdom are affected by moderate to heavy rainfall until (Thursday), clarifying that the rainy conditions may renew after Thursday.
