تواصل الهيئة السعودية للمياه استقبال طلبات المشاركة في النسخة الثانية من الهاكاثون العالمي «مياهثون»، الذي يجمع المبتكرين وروّاد الأعمال من داخل المملكة وخارجها لتطوير حلول مستدامة لمستقبل المياه، وذلك حتى 11 أكتوبر الجاري.
وتأتي هذه النسخة استكمالًا لنجاح النسخة الأولى التي شهدت مشاركة واسعة من مبتكرين محليين ودوليين، وأسفرت عن مشاريع نوعية، من أبرزها مشروع «Smart Ric» لمعالجة المياه، ومشروع «Hydraya» في تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي. وقد حظيت المشاريع الفائزة بالاحتضان في حاضنات ومسرّعات أعمال مركز الابتكار السعودي لتقنيات المياه، مما مكّنها من التطور والتحول إلى منتجات قابلة للتطبيق.
ويهدف «مياهثون» إلى تعزيز منظومة الابتكار وريادة الأعمال في قطاع المياه من خلال برامج الحاضنات والمسرّعات، التي تمكّن المبتكرين من تحويل أفكارهم إلى مشاريع عملية ذات أثر اقتصادي واستدامة بيئية، إلى جانب ربطهم بمنصات الابتكار العالمية والمستثمرين لتوسيع نطاق أعمالهم.
وتتضمن النسخة الحالية معسكرات افتراضية وحضورية لتطوير مهارات المشاركين في مجالات متعددة مثل التحلية، والإنتاج المستدام، والذكاء الاصطناعي، وذلك عبر ورش تدريبية بإشراف خبراء محليين ودوليين، تمهيدًا للمراحل النهائية من الهاكاثون.
ويُعد «مياهثون» من المبادرات الوطنية الرائدة التي تجسّد التزام الهيئة السعودية للمياه بتعزيز القدرات الوطنية في مجالات الابتكار والتقنية، وتطوير حلول تسهم في استدامة الموارد المائية، وترسّخ مكانة المملكة كوجهة عالمية لتقنيات المياه.

The Saudi Water Authority continues to receive applications for participation in the second edition of the global hackathon "Miyathon," which brings together innovators and entrepreneurs from within and outside the Kingdom to develop sustainable solutions for the future of water, until October 11 of this year.
This edition follows the success of the first edition, which saw wide participation from local and international innovators and resulted in quality projects, the most notable of which are the "Smart Ric" project for water treatment and the "Hydraya" project in artificial intelligence applications. The winning projects received incubation in the Saudi Innovation Center for Water Technologies, enabling them to evolve and transform into applicable products.
The "Miyathon" aims to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the water sector through incubator and accelerator programs, which enable innovators to turn their ideas into practical projects with economic impact and environmental sustainability, in addition to connecting them with global innovation platforms and investors to expand their businesses.
The current edition includes virtual and in-person boot camps to develop participants' skills in various fields such as desalination, sustainable production, and artificial intelligence, through training workshops supervised by local and international experts, in preparation for the final stages of the hackathon.
