The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has called on national factories to engage with the "Report Unfair Competition" service and to report any imports suspected of harming competition in the local market in accordance with the Kingdom's commitments to the World Trade Organization, or that involve illegal trade practices, such as dumping or a sudden increase in the volume of imports affecting the industrial sector. This is part of its ongoing efforts to ensure a fair and stable industrial environment in line with the Kingdom's commitments to the World Trade Organization.

The ministry emphasized that this measure comes from its keenness to combat harmful practices that may disrupt equal opportunities and negatively impact the stability of national factories, noting that changes in global trade policies and the resulting influx of foreign products at unfair prices necessitate vigilance and swift interaction from local manufacturers.

The "Report Unfair Competition" service is a digital tool that enables industrial investors to report the challenges facing their establishments and to track the status of their reports, contributing to enhancing fair competition, protecting local products, and developing policies and regulations governing the market.

The ministry urged all industrial establishments to take advantage of the service through its website and to submit reports accompanied by the required data and documents, as a first step towards analyzing the damage and taking necessary actions in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
