In a fleeting and terrifying moment, the young Frenchman Martin Brachet lost his life in an extremely rare and shocking manner, after the tail wing of the plane struck his neck while he was attempting to jump with a parachute, in a tragic incident that shook the French skydiving community and raised widespread questions about safety procedures and coordination.
According to the results of the preliminary investigations, the disaster began due to a fatal misunderstanding between the pilot and the participants. Two consecutive jumps were scheduled, and when the pilot gave the first signal to allow jumping via the "green light," he was completely under the impression that only one person would exit the plane at the designated jump point.
However, the disaster occurred after the first skydiver exited, as the pilot turned off the jump signal and immediately began to ascend the plane in preparation for the next stage, unaware that "Martin" was still standing at the edge preparing to jump.
