في إطار جهود المملكة المتواصلة لتحقيق مستهدفات «رؤية السعودية 2030» عبر تعزيز القطاع الصناعي وتوطين الصناعات النوعية، وقّعت كل من شركة بترومين، وشركة فوتون العالمية، ووزارة الاستثمار، والمركز الوطني للتنمية الصناعية، مذكرة تفاهم رباعية لبحث إنشاء مصنع متكامل لإنتاج المركبات التجارية في المملكة العربية السعودية.
ويهدف هذا التعاون الإستراتيجي إلى تطوير القدرات المحلية في مجالي التصنيع والخدمات اللوجستية، وتعزيز سلاسل الإمداد، ورفع نسب التوطين في قطاع المركبات.
وسيضم نطاق الإنتاج الشاحنات الثقيلة، والشاحنات الخفيفة، والحافلات.
وأكد معالي السيد عمرو الدباغ، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة «الدباغ»، أن هذه الخطوة تأتي انسجاماً مع تطلعات المجموعة لتعزيز اقتصاد متنوع قائم على الصناعة والتقنية. وقال: «نفخر بهذه الشراكة مع شركة فوتون، المصنّفة الأولى في سوق المركبات التجارية بالصين، إذ تمثل هذه الشراكة رافعة قوية لتقديم مركبات تجارية عالية الجودة تلبي تطلعات السوق، وتُسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية 2030».
ومن جهته، قال السيد تشانغ روي، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة «بايك فوتون» العالمية: «نفخر بشراكتنا مع بترومين في توطين صناعة المركبات التجارية. ومن خلال هذا التعاون، نسعى لنقل أحدث التقنيات إلى السوق السعودي، وتقديم حلول تنقل مستدامة ومبتكرة تخدم الأفراد والشركات على حدّ سواء».
ويحظى المشروع بدعم من وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية، ووزارة الاستثمار، والمركز الوطني للتنمية الصناعية، وصندوق التنمية الصناعية السعودي، وهيئة المحتوى المحلي والمشتريات الحكومية. ومن المتوقع أن يسهم المشروع في توفير فرص عمل نوعية للكفاءات الوطنية، ودعم نمو الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة، ما يعزز توجه المملكة نحو اقتصاد صناعي متقدم ومستدام.
As part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to achieve the objectives of "Saudi Vision 2030" by enhancing the industrial sector and localizing specialized industries, Petrochem Company, Foton International, the Ministry of Investment, and the National Industrial Development Center signed a quadripartite memorandum of understanding to explore the establishment of a comprehensive factory for the production of commercial vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This strategic collaboration aims to develop local capabilities in manufacturing and logistics services, enhance supply chains, and increase localization rates in the vehicle sector.
The production scope will include heavy trucks, light trucks, and buses.
His Excellency Mr. Amr Al-Dabbagh, Chairman and CEO of Al-Dabbagh Group, confirmed that this step aligns with the group's aspirations to enhance a diversified economy based on industry and technology. He stated: "We take pride in this partnership with Foton, the leading manufacturer in the commercial vehicle market in China, as this partnership represents a strong lever to provide high-quality commercial vehicles that meet market aspirations and contribute to achieving the objectives of Vision 2030."
For his part, Mr. Zhang Rui, Chairman of Baic Foton International, said: "We are proud of our partnership with Petrochem in localizing the commercial vehicle industry. Through this collaboration, we aim to bring the latest technologies to the Saudi market and provide sustainable and innovative mobility solutions that serve both individuals and businesses."
The project is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Investment, the National Industrial Development Center, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, and the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority. The project is expected to contribute to providing quality job opportunities for national competencies and support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, enhancing the Kingdom's direction towards an advanced and sustainable industrial economy.
