انطلقت في مدينة الرياض اليوم، فعاليات «ملتقى الأعمال السعودي - الإسباني»، الذي ينظمه اتحاد الغرف السعودية، بالتعاون مع وزارة الاقتصاد والتخطيط، ووزارة الاستثمار، بمشاركة وزير الاقتصاد والتخطيط فيصل بن فاضل الإبراهيم، ووزير الاقتصاد والتجارة والأعمال الإسباني كارلوس كويربو، بحضور ما يزيد على (300) من المسؤولين والمستثمرين.
وأكد وزير الاقتصاد والتخطيط، في كلمة له، أن المملكة تسير بخطى واثقة نحو اقتصاد قائم على المعرفة، مدفوعًا برؤية المملكة 2030، مشيرًا إلى أن القطاعات غير النفطية شكّلت 54.8% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في عام 2024؛ وذلك لأول مرة في تاريخ المملكة.
وأوضح أن رؤية المملكة شهدت منذ إطلاقها نموًا بنسبة 70% في الاستثمارات الخاصة بالقطاعات غير النفطية؛ نتيجة تنفيذ أكثر من 900 إصلاح اقتصادي وهيكلي، أسهم في تعزيز ثقة المستثمرين وتسهيل بيئة الأعمال.
من جهته أكد وزير الاقتصاد والتجارة والأعمال الإسباني كارلوس كويربو، أن المملكة تعد أهم شريك بالمنطقة، حيث زاد تواجد الشركات الإسبانية في المملكة بنسبة 57% خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية، مبينًا أن الوضع الاقتصادي الحالي في إسبانيا مناسب لتعزيز العلاقات مع المملكة، مفيدًا بأن إسبانيا وصلت لمستوى قياسي من القدرة التمويلية، فيما يشكل قطاع السياحة المحرك الرئيسي، واحتلت مراتب متقدمة في استقطاب مشاريع الطاقة المتجددة، وأنشطة البحث والتطوير المتعلقة بالذكاء الاصطناعي.
بدوره أوضح رئيس مجلس الأعمال السعودي - الإسباني خالد الحقيل، أن المملكة وإسبانيا تسعيان لاستكشاف فرص الاستثمار، وتعزيز التبادل التجاري في القطاعات الواعدة والحيوية، مبينًا أن العلاقات التجارية والاستثمارية تشهد حاليًا تطورًا؛ ففي عام 2024 بلغ حجم التبادل التجاري نحو 6 مليارات دولار، مشيرًا إلى أن المجلس، يعمل على تعزيز الشراكات بين قادة الأعمال في قطاعات مثل: الطاقة، والسياحة، والبناء، والرياضة، والأغذية، والخدمات اللوجستية.
وشهد الملتقى، توقيع (4) اتفاقيات بين شركات سعودية وإسبانية في عدة قطاعات اقتصادية، إضافة إلى عقد جلسات وورش عمل قطاعية متخصصة، سلَّطت الضوء على بيئة وفرص الاستثمارات في البلدين وخصوصا في القطاعات الاقتصادية الحيوية والحوافز والتسهيلات المقدمة للمستثمرين من الجانبين.
يذكر أن حجم التبادل التجاري بين المملكة وإسبانيا في نهاية عام (2024) بلغ قيمته (22.9) مليار ريال، بصادراتٍ سعودية بلغت (12.4) مليار ريال، فيما بلغت وارداتها من إسبانيا (10.5) مليار ريال.
The "Saudi-Spanish Business Forum" kicked off today in Riyadh, organized by the Saudi Chambers Federation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Planning and the Ministry of Investment, with the participation of Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal bin Fadhel Al-Ibrahim and Spanish Minister of Economy, Trade, and Business Carlos Cuervo, in the presence of more than (300) officials and investors.
The Minister of Economy and Planning, in his speech, confirmed that the Kingdom is confidently moving towards a knowledge-based economy, driven by the Kingdom's Vision 2030, noting that non-oil sectors accounted for 54.8% of the GDP in 2024; this is the first time in the Kingdom's history.
He explained that since the launch of the Kingdom's Vision, there has been a 70% growth in private investments in non-oil sectors, resulting from the implementation of more than 900 economic and structural reforms, which contributed to enhancing investor confidence and facilitating the business environment.
For his part, Spanish Minister of Economy, Trade, and Business Carlos Cuervo confirmed that the Kingdom is the most important partner in the region, as the presence of Spanish companies in the Kingdom has increased by 57% over the past three years, indicating that the current economic situation in Spain is suitable for strengthening relations with the Kingdom, noting that Spain has reached a record level of financing capacity, with the tourism sector being the main driver, and it has ranked highly in attracting renewable energy projects and research and development activities related to artificial intelligence.
For his part, Khalid Al-Huqail, Chairman of the Saudi-Spanish Business Council, explained that the Kingdom and Spain are seeking to explore investment opportunities and enhance trade exchange in promising and vital sectors, noting that trade and investment relations are currently evolving; in 2024, the volume of trade exchange reached about 6 billion dollars, indicating that the council is working to enhance partnerships among business leaders in sectors such as: energy, tourism, construction, sports, food, and logistics services.
The forum witnessed the signing of (4) agreements between Saudi and Spanish companies in several economic sectors, in addition to holding specialized sectoral sessions and workshops that highlighted the investment environment and opportunities in both countries, especially in vital economic sectors and the incentives and facilities offered to investors from both sides.
It is worth mentioning that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and Spain at the end of 2024 reached (22.9) billion riyals, with Saudi exports amounting to (12.4) billion riyals, while imports from Spain reached (10.5) billion riyals.
