ذكرت مصادر، نقلاً عن بيانات لمعهد البترول الأمريكي، أن مخزونات النفط الخام والديزل بالولايات المتحدة انخفضت في الأسبوع الماضي، في حين ارتفعت مخزونات البنزين، وذلك بحسب ما نشر موقع «العربية. نت».
وقالت المصادر، التي طلبت عدم الكشف عن هويتها: «إن مخزونات النفط الخام انخفضت 2.6 مليون برميل في الأسبوع المنتهي في 28 أغسطس الماضي».
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن مخزونات البنزين ارتفعت 348 ألف برميل، في حين انخفضت مخزونات نواتج التقطير 265 ألف برميل مقارنة بالأسبوع السابق.
تصاعد المخاوف
وارتفعت أسعار النفط 1% في التعاملات المبكرة، اليوم، مواصلة قفزة الجلسة السابقة، مع تصاعد المخاوف من اضطراب الإمدادات بعدما تبادلت الولايات المتحدة وإيران الضربات خلال الليل، مما بدد الآمال في انحسار سريع للتوتر في الشرق الأوسط.
وزادت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت 91 سنتاً بما يعادل 0.95% إلى 95.55 دولار للبرميل؛ ليتداول قرب أعلى مستوياته في نحو 6 أسابيع، وارتفعت العقود الآجلة لخام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأمريكي 53 سنتاً أو 0.6% إلى 90.66 دولار.
وقفز العقدان بأكثر من أربعة دولارات أمس، مسجلين أكبر مكسب لبرنت منذ 24 يوليو الماضي ولخام غرب تكساس الوسيط منذ 23 يوليو الماضي.
Sources cited data from the American Petroleum Institute, indicating that crude oil and diesel inventories in the United States decreased last week, while gasoline inventories increased, according to what was published by the "Al Arabiya.net" website.
The sources, who requested anonymity, stated: "Crude oil inventories fell by 2.6 million barrels in the week ending August 28."
The sources noted that gasoline inventories rose by 348,000 barrels, while distillate stocks decreased by 265,000 barrels compared to the previous week.
Escalating Concerns
Oil prices rose by 1% in early trading today, continuing the surge from the previous session, amid escalating concerns over supply disruptions after the United States and Iran exchanged strikes overnight, which dampened hopes for a quick easing of tensions in the Middle East.
Brent crude futures increased by 91 cents, or 0.95%, to $95.55 per barrel, trading near its highest levels in about six weeks, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose by 53 cents, or 0.6%, to $90.66.
Both contracts jumped by more than four dollars yesterday, marking the largest gain for Brent since July 24 and for West Texas Intermediate since July 23.
