توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد، في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الأربعاء)، هطول أمطار رعدية غزيرة -بمشيئة الله تعالى- تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، ومصحوبة بزخات من البَرَد على أجزاء من منطقتي جازان وعسير.
أمطار على نجران والباحة ومرتفعات مكة
وأوضح المركز أن الأمطار ستكون متوسطة إلى غزيرة على أجزاء من منطقتي نجران والباحة، إضافة إلى مرتفعات منطقة مكة المكرمة.
كما يستمر تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، إضافة إلى أجزاء من مناطق الشرقية والرياض والقصيم والمدينة المنورة وحائل وتبوك والجوف والحدود الشمالية.
حالة البحر الأحمر
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر ستكون شمالية غربية إلى غربية، بسرعة تتراوح بين 16 و34 كيلومتراً في الساعة.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج.
الرياح والأمواج في الخليج العربي
أما على الخليج العربي، فتكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى شمالية، بسرعة تتراوح بين 15 و38 كيلومتراً في الساعة.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين متر ومترين، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected, in its weather report for today (Wednesday), heavy thunderstorm rains - if God wills - leading to the flow of torrents, accompanied by showers of hail in parts of the Jazan and Asir regions.
Rain in Najran, Al-Baha, and the Heights of Mecca
The center clarified that the rains will be moderate to heavy in parts of the Najran and Al-Baha regions, in addition to the heights of the Makkah region.
The effect of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of those areas, as well as in parts of the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Qassim, Medina, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders.
Condition of the Red Sea
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly, at speeds ranging between 16 and 34 kilometers per hour.
The wave height will range between half a meter and one and a half meters, while the sea condition will be light to moderate.
Winds and Waves in the Arabian Gulf
As for the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will be northwesterly to northerly, at speeds ranging between 15 and 38 kilometers per hour.
The wave height will range between one and two meters, while the sea condition will be light to moderate.
