أعلنت وزارة الثقافة المصرية رسمياً إعادة تنظيم المهرجان القومي للسينما، في دورته الخامسة والعشرين، بعد توقف استمر 3 أعوام، وإطلاق دورة اليوبيل الفضي.
وستقام الدورة الخامسة والعشرون من المهرجان في 26 أبريل على أن تُخصَّص الجوائز هذا العام للأفلام القصيرة وأفلام الطلاب، مع تنظيم عروض للأفلام المشاركة في عدد من المحافظات.
الارتقاء بالسينما المصرية
وأوضح وزير الثقافة أحمد فؤاد هنو بأن عودة المهرجان تمثل خطوة مهمة ضمن إستراتيجية متكاملة للارتقاء بصناعة السينما المصرية، ودعم المبدعين في هذا المجال، وتشجيع الإبداع الفني الوطني، وتقديم منصة حقيقية للاحتفاء بالسينما وتعزيز قدرة صناع الأفلام على الابتكار والتجديد، مشيراً إلى أن الوزارة تضع كافة إمكانياتها لدعم المهرجان والارتقاء بالمستوى الفني والتنظيمي له، لافتاً إلى اختيار المنتج هشام سليمان رئيساً للمهرجان لهذه الدورة «لما يمتلكه من خبرات ورؤية واعية»، مؤكداً التزام الدورة باحترام صُنّاع السينما، والاحتفاء بإبداعاتهم، وترسيخ مكانة السينما المصرية كأحد أبرز روافد القوة الناعمة للبلاد.
The Egyptian Ministry of Culture has officially announced the reorganization of the National Film Festival, in its twenty-fifth edition, after a three-year hiatus, and the launch of the silver jubilee edition.
The twenty-fifth edition of the festival will take place on April 26, with this year's awards dedicated to short films and student films, along with screenings of participating films in several governorates.
Elevating Egyptian Cinema
Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Henu explained that the return of the festival represents an important step within a comprehensive strategy to elevate the Egyptian film industry, support creators in this field, encourage national artistic creativity, and provide a real platform to celebrate cinema and enhance filmmakers' ability to innovate and renew. He pointed out that the ministry is putting all its resources to support the festival and elevate its artistic and organizational level, noting the selection of producer Hisham Suleiman as the president of the festival for this edition "for his experience and conscious vision," affirming the commitment of this edition to respect filmmakers, celebrate their creations, and reinforce the status of Egyptian cinema as one of the most prominent tributaries of the country's soft power.
