عادت الفنانة المصرية إلهام شاهين إلى مصر بعد أيام عصيبة عاشتها في العاصمة العراقية بغداد، إثر إغلاق المجال الجوي نتيجة التصعيد العسكري الأخير بين إسرائيل وإيران.
وفي تصريحات خاصة لـ«عكاظ»، أعربت شاهين عن سعادتها الغامرة بالعودة إلى مصر، قائلة: «روحي رجعت لي أول ما وصلت بلدي.. ومن الفرحة ما نمتش لمدة أكتر من 48 ساعة».
وكانت شاهين ترافق الإعلامية هالة سرحان خلال مشاركتهما في مهرجان المرأة الإعلامية الدولي في دورته الرابعة عشرة، قبل أن تتعذر عودتهما بسبب الأحداث المتصاعدة.
وتروي الفنانة تفاصيل الساعات الصعبة قائلة: «سمعت أصوات القصف عن بُعد، وشاهدت صواريخ تعبر السماء في أثناء الضربات الجوية.. كانت لحظات قاسية».
ورغم الظروف الحرجة، عبّرت شاهين عن امتنانها لحفاوة الشعب العراقي وحسن تعامل السلطات هناك، مؤكدة: «السلطات العراقية لم تقصّر، وكان وفد من رئاسة الوزراء يرافقنا لحظة بلحظة حتى صعود الطائرة».
واختتمت حديثها برسالة شكر لجمهورها وأصدقائها الذين لم يتوقفوا عن السؤال والاطمئنان، وذكرت أن عدداً من الفنانين تواصلوا معها خلال أزمتها، منهم يسرا، ومنى زكي، وحنان مطاوع، وغيرهم.
The Egyptian artist Elham Shaheen returned to Egypt after difficult days she spent in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, due to the closure of airspace resulting from the recent military escalation between Israel and Iran.
In exclusive statements to "Okaz," Shaheen expressed her overwhelming happiness at returning to Egypt, saying: "My soul returned to me as soon as I arrived in my country... I couldn't sleep for more than 48 hours out of joy."
Shaheen was accompanying media personality Hala Sarhan during their participation in the 14th International Media Women’s Festival, before their return was hindered due to the escalating events.
The artist recounts the details of the difficult hours, saying: "I heard the sounds of shelling from a distance, and I saw missiles crossing the sky during the airstrikes... it was a tough moment."
Despite the critical circumstances, Shaheen expressed her gratitude for the warm hospitality of the Iraqi people and the good treatment from the authorities there, confirming: "The Iraqi authorities did not fall short, and a delegation from the Prime Minister's office accompanied us moment by moment until we boarded the plane."
She concluded her remarks with a message of thanks to her fans and friends who continuously inquired and checked on her, mentioning that several artists reached out to her during her crisis, including Yousra, Mona Zaki, Hanan Motawie, and others.
