While millions are busy chatting with ChatGPT, there has been an artificial intelligence model working in the shadows, away from the spotlight, on crafting the most dangerous scientific experiment in history. While the world enjoys chatting and accomplishing daily tasks through conventional AI applications, a hidden model called "Evo" (unknown to the majority of humans) has managed to surpass the boundaries of science fiction, having successfully written a genetic genome and designed 16 new deadly bacteria-killing viruses that have never been seen in nature before.
How does the unknown "Evo" technology work?
Just as ChatGPT is trained on human words and texts, the "Evo" model was trained on vast databases known as the "language of life," which includes millions of genetic codes and sequences of living organisms. After the machine understood how genes change and evolve, it was asked to start by writing a complete viral genome from scratch, and it executed the task with a terrifying algorithmic brilliance, successfully formulating genetic codes for viruses capable of reproducing in the lab and rapidly destroying bacteria, even surpassing natural viruses in speed.
But the most terrifying aspect of this experiment is that the creation of these organisms did not take years of complex research; it was done at the push of a button within the intelligent model. Although the designed viruses targeted bacteria and were not pathogenic to humans, they demonstrated the machine's realistic ability to "engineer pandemics," raising alarm among scientists about the potential future use of these algorithms in developing deadly biological weapons for which no cures exist in the real world.
