سقط أحد الأسماء النافذة في قبضة العدالة المغربية في قضية مدوية أطاحت بواحدة من شبكات الجريمة المنظمة، حيث قضت المحكمة الابتدائية بسوق الأربعاء بسجن شقيق سياسي بارز ستة أعوام وتغريمه مئة ألف درهم، إثر إدانته بتهم ثقيلة تتعلق بالاتجار الدولي في المخدرات ونقل وتصدير الشحنات المحظورة عبر الحدود.
وتفجرت خيوط هذه العملية العابرة للحدود إثر تدخل ميداني للأجهزة الأمنية المغربية أسفر عن توقيف أحد أقارب المدان متلبساً بحيازة كميات من مخدر الحشيش «الشيرا»، ليقود التحقيق المتسارع إلى كشف امتدادات شبكة إجرامية معقدة يتربع على رأسها شقيق السياسي. وقد امتدت خيوط المتابعة سابقاً لتشمل تحقيقات أمنية موسعة بمدينة فاس، تزامناً مع تنسيق قضائي مغربي ودولي عقب مصادرة السلطات الإسبانية لكميات ضخمة من الكوكايين حملت وسوماً وعلامات دلت بشكل مباشر على هوية الموقوف.
ورغم الإفراج المؤقت عنه في مراحل التحقيق الأولى، إلا أن اعترافات موقوفين جدد حاصرته من جديد، ليعود إلى الواجهة ويسقط حضورياً في قبضة القضاء بعقوبة سجنية قاسية، طوت صفحة شبكة دولية أخرى سقطت رموزها في فخ التنسيق الأمني المحكم.
One of the prominent names has fallen into the hands of Moroccan justice in a sensational case that brought down one of the organized crime networks, as the Court of First Instance in Souk Seblani sentenced the brother of a prominent politician to six years in prison and fined him one hundred thousand dirhams, after convicting him of serious charges related to international drug trafficking and the transport and export of prohibited shipments across borders.
The threads of this cross-border operation were revealed following a field intervention by Moroccan security forces, which resulted in the arrest of a relative of the convicted individual caught in possession of quantities of hashish "shira," leading the rapid investigation to uncover the extensions of a complex criminal network headed by the politician's brother. Previously, the follow-up threads had extended to include extensive security investigations in the city of Fez, coinciding with Moroccan and international judicial coordination after Spanish authorities seized large quantities of cocaine that bore labels and marks directly indicating the identity of the arrested individual.
Despite his temporary release during the initial stages of the investigation, new detainees' confessions cornered him once again, leading him to return to the forefront and fall back into the hands of the judiciary with a harsh prison sentence, closing the chapter on another international network whose symbols fell into the trap of tight security coordination.
