تحولت رحلة عودة مجندين إلى منازلهم إلى مأساة خيمت على الشارع الأردني، إثر وقوع حادثة تصادم مروعة تعرضت لها حافلة كانت تقل عدداً من المكلفين بخدمة العلم أثناء توجههم إلى مناطق سكنهم في جنوب المملكة.
وأعلن الناطق الرسمي باسم القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الأردنية أن الفاجعة وقعت في تمام الساعة الثالثة والربع من بعد ظهر اليوم (الخميس)، إثر تصادم الحافلة بمركبة أخرى، ما أسفر عن وفاة أربعة من المكلفين بخدمة العلم وإصابة 18 آخرين بجروح، إضافة إلى وفاة سائق الحافلة.
وفور استنفار الكوادر الطبية والإسعافية، جرى إخلاء المصابين ونقلهم بشكل عاجل إلى مستشفى الأمير علي العسكري، ومستشفى الكرك الحكومي، ومستشفى الطفيلة الحكومي، حيث يخضعون حالياً للرعاية الطبية المكثفة وتحت الإشراف المباشر من الأطقم المختصة.
وأكدت القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الأردنية أن الجهات المعنية في القوات المسلحة باشرت فوراً كافة الإجراءات القانونية والتحقيقية للوقوف على أسباب الحادثة وملابساتها، متقدمةً بخالص التعازي والمواساة لعائلات الضحايا ومتمنية الشفاء العاجل للمصابين.
The return journey of conscripts to their homes turned into a tragedy that cast a shadow over the Jordanian street, following a horrific collision involving a bus carrying several individuals obligated to serve in the military as they were heading to their residential areas in the south of the kingdom.
The official spokesperson for the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces announced that the tragedy occurred at exactly 3:15 PM today (Thursday), following a collision between the bus and another vehicle, resulting in the deaths of four conscripts and injuries to 18 others, in addition to the death of the bus driver.
Immediately upon the mobilization of medical and emergency personnel, the injured were evacuated and urgently transported to Prince Ali Military Hospital, Karak Government Hospital, and Tafila Government Hospital, where they are currently receiving intensive medical care under the direct supervision of specialized teams.
The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces confirmed that the relevant authorities within the armed forces immediately initiated all legal and investigative procedures to determine the causes and circumstances of the incident, extending their heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
