توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (السبت) هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
فرصة لتكوّن الضباب
وأشار المركز إلى وجود فرصة لتكوّن الضباب على أجزاء من المناطق المتأثرة بالأمطار، إضافة إلى أجزاء من المنطقة الشرقية، ما قد يؤدي إلى تدنٍ في مدى الرؤية الأفقية.
سحب رعدية على نجران
كما لا يُستبعد تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة المصحوبة برياح نشطة على أجزاء من منطقة نجران.
البحر الأحمر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج
وبيّن التقرير أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر ستكون شمالية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 15 و38 كيلومتراً في الساعة، فيما يتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف، وتكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج.
الخليج العربي خفيف الموج
وعلى الخليج العربي، تكون الرياح السطحية غربية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و28 كيلومتراً في الساعة، فيما يتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر، وتكون حالة البحر خفيفة الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Saturday) moderate to heavy thunderstorms that will lead to flash floods, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring dust and sand, over parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah.
Chance of Fog Formation
The center indicated a chance of fog formation over parts of the areas affected by the rain, in addition to parts of the Eastern Province, which may lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility.
Thunderstorms in Najran
It is also not ruled out that thunderstorm clouds accompanied by active winds may form over parts of the Najran region.
The Red Sea: Light to Moderate Waves
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be from the north to the northwest at a speed ranging between 15 and 38 kilometers per hour, while the wave height will range between half a meter and one and a half meters, and the sea condition will be light to moderate.
The Arabian Gulf: Light Waves
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will be from the west to the northwest at a speed ranging between 10 and 28 kilometers per hour, while the wave height will range between half a meter and one meter, and the sea condition will be light.
