عثرت خدمات الطوارئ في باريس على 58 مهاجراً داخل شاحنة متوقفة دون سائق على أطراف العاصمة الفرنسية، حسبما أعلن مكتب المدعي العام اليوم (الأربعاء).
وفتح مكتب المدعي العام تحقيقاً للاشتباه في تسهيل الدخول غير القانوني إلى فرنسا والاتجار بالمهاجرين، فيما تحقق السلطات في احتمال وقوف شبكة منظمة لتهريب البشر وراء الحادث.
وذكرت وسائل إعلام فرنسية أن من بين المهاجرين نساء وأطفالاً، فيما نُقل نحو 26 شخصاً لا يحملون تصاريح إقامة سارية إلى مركز احتجاز.
Emergency services in Paris found 58 migrants inside an unattended truck on the outskirts of the French capital, the prosecutor's office announced today (Wednesday).
The prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into suspected facilitation of illegal entry into France and human trafficking, while authorities are looking into the possibility that an organized smuggling network is behind the incident.
French media reported that among the migrants were women and children, while around 26 individuals without valid residence permits were transferred to a detention center.
