المأساة التي وقعت تحت خطوط المطر الغزير، خطفت روح اللاعب صفوان أواي (24 عاماً) نجم فريق «سامكولت»، والذي لم تمر سوى أيام قليلة على لحظة توقيعه التاريخية مع الفريق، ليتحول قميصه الجديد إلى كفن في مباراة لم تكمل شوطها الأخير.
اللقطات التي وثقتها كاميرات البث وانتشرت كالنار في الهشيم عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، أظهرت لحظات حبست أنفاس الملايين، إذ أضاء وميض ساطع سماء الملعب فجأة، يليه انفجار مدوٍّ سقط على إثره مجموعة من اللاعبين أرضاً في المشهد نفسه وكأنهم أصيبوا برصاصة غير مرئية!
أرضية الملعب المبتلة نقلت الشحنة الكهربائية بسرعة خاطفة، ليتعرض صفوان لإصابات بليغة ومباشرة في جسده، نُقل على إثرها بحالة حرجة للغاية إلى المستشفى، قبل أن يعلن الأطباء وفاته متأثراً بالصدمة المباشرة.
المأساة التي أوقفت المباراة ضد فريق «أبو إكس نونغ»، أثارت موجة حزن عارمة وعاصفة من التساؤلات حول معايير السلامة واستمرار اللعب في ظروف جوية خطرة.
وبينما توالت بيانات النعي والمواساة لأسرته وفريقه، بقيت مشاهد الانفجار المرعب على العشب شاهدة على واحدة من أغرب وأقسى الفاجعات التي شهدتها المستطيلات الخضراء.
