أعلنت مصادر طبية يمنية، أن نازحين اثنين قُتلا، وأُصيب 14 آخرون، اليوم (الجمعة)، جراء قصف صاروخي شنته مليشيا الحوثي، واستهدف مخيمات للنازحين في ضواحي مدينة مأرب، شرقي اليمن.
وأكدت المصادر أن القصف استهدف مخيمات تؤوي نازحين، ما أدى إلى سقوط الضحايا، ونُقل المصابون منهم إلى المستشفيات لتلقي العلاج، فيما لا تزال الحصيلة أولية وقابلة للارتفاع. واستهدفت مليشيا الحوثي اليوم مدينة مأرب بعدد من الصواريخ والطائرات المسيرة.
ونقل موقع وزارة الدفاع اليمنية «سبتمبر نت»، عن مصادر أن القصف استهدف عدداً من المناطق، في وقت تشهد فيه المدينة حركة مدنية واسعة. وأضافت أن الاستهداف أثار حالة من القلق بين السكان، وسط تأكيدات باستمرار الجهات الأمنية والعسكرية في اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية المدنيين.
وأسقطت الدفاعات الجوية التابعة للقوات المسلحة اليمنية، (الجمعة)، طائرة مسيّرة تابعة لمليشيات الحوثي أثناء تحليقها في أجواء مدينة مأرب.
ونقل المركز الإعلامي للقوات المسلحة عن مصدر عسكري قوله: إن وحدات الدفاع الجوي رصدت الطائرة فور دخولها أجواء المدينة، وتعاملت معها، وتمكنت من إسقاطها بنجاح.
وأضاف المصدر أن استهداف مليشيا الحوثي لمحافظة مأرب، التي تؤوي مئات الآلاف من النازحين، يعكس استمرار نهجها التصعيدي، وإصرارها على مواصلة أعمالها الإرهابية.
ويأتي استهداف مدينة مأرب بعد يوم من هجوم نفذته مليشيا الحوثي على معسكرات للقوات الحكومية في مأرب وحضرموت، مستخدمة صواريخ باليستية وطائرات مسيّرة، ما أدى إلى سقوط قتلى وجرحى في صفوف القوات الحكومية.
Yemeni medical sources announced that two displaced individuals were killed, and 14 others were injured today (Friday) as a result of a missile strike carried out by the Houthi militia, targeting camps for the displaced in the outskirts of Marib city, eastern Yemen.
The sources confirmed that the bombardment targeted camps housing displaced individuals, leading to the casualties, and the injured were transferred to hospitals for treatment, while the toll remains preliminary and could rise. The Houthi militia targeted Marib city today with several missiles and drones.
The Yemeni Ministry of Defense's website, "September Net," reported from sources that the bombardment targeted several areas, at a time when the city is witnessing extensive civilian movement. It added that the targeting raised concerns among the residents, amid assurances that security and military authorities continue to take necessary measures to protect civilians.
The air defenses of the Yemeni armed forces shot down a drone belonging to the Houthi militia on Friday while it was flying over Marib city.
The media center of the armed forces quoted a military source as saying that the air defense units detected the drone as soon as it entered the city's airspace and dealt with it, successfully bringing it down.
The source added that the Houthi militia's targeting of Marib province, which hosts hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals, reflects its continued escalation approach and its insistence on continuing its terrorist activities.
The targeting of Marib city comes a day after an attack carried out by the Houthi militia on government military camps in Marib and Hadhramaut, using ballistic missiles and drones, which resulted in casualties among government forces.
