أكد خفر السواحل اليمني خلال اجتماع دولي استضافته العاصمة السعودية الرياض، التزامه الكامل بتنفيذ مهماته الوطنية بكل حيادية ومهنية، في خدمة بلاده وتعزيز سيادة اليمن البحرية، بالتعاون الوثيق مع شركائه الإقليميين والدوليين لما فيه تحقيق الاستقرار والازدهار، مستندًا في مهماته إلى دعم القيادة السياسية ممثلة بمجلس القيادة الرئاسي والحكومة.
وثمّن خفر السواحل اليمني خلال الاجتماع الذي استضافته المملكة المتحدة في الرياض بموقف الشركاء الدوليين في دعم خفر السواحل اليمنية، وفي مقدمتهم المملكة العربية السعودية لما تقدمه من دعم قيادي وحاسم للحكومة اليمنية في هذا التوقيت المفصلي.
وخلال الاجتماع قدم رئيس مصلحة خفر السواحل اليمنية اللواء الركن خالد علي محمد القملي، ايجازاً عملياتياً مهنياً عن أبرز الإنجازات والتحديات لخفر السواحل خلال المرحلة الحالية، وكيفية استثمار الفرص المتاحة لتعزيز دورها الوطني والإقليمي.
وأشاد الشركاء الإقليميون والدوليون بالدور الوطني والمسؤول الذي يضطلع به خفر السواحل اليمني كجهة إنفاذ للقانون البحري، مؤكدين أهمية دعم خفر السواحل اليمني لتمكينه من أداء مهماته في تأمين الموانئ، وحماية السواحل والمياه الإقليمية، ومكافحة الجرائم البحرية والأنشطة غير المشروعة والبحث والإنقاذ، بما يسهم في حماية الأرواح والملاحة الدولية والاستقرار الإقليمي.
وخصص الاجتماع الذي انعقد في العاصمة السعودية الرياض، ضمن شراكة الأمن البحري اليمني (YMSP)، لاستعراض جهود تطوير القدرات المهنية وتعزيز الأمن البحري للجمهورية اليمنية في هذه المرحلة الحرجة.

The Yemeni Coast Guard confirmed during an international meeting hosted by the Saudi capital, Riyadh, its full commitment to carrying out its national missions with complete neutrality and professionalism, in service of its country and to enhance Yemen's maritime sovereignty, in close cooperation with its regional and international partners to achieve stability and prosperity, relying on the support of the political leadership represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government.
The Yemeni Coast Guard appreciated during the meeting hosted by the United Kingdom in Riyadh the position of international partners in supporting the Yemeni Coast Guard, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its decisive and leadership support for the Yemeni government at this critical time.
During the meeting, the head of the Yemeni Coast Guard, Major General Khalid Ali Mohammed Al-Qamali, presented a professional operational briefing on the most significant achievements and challenges facing the Coast Guard during the current phase, and how to capitalize on available opportunities to enhance its national and regional role.
Regional and international partners praised the national and responsible role played by the Yemeni Coast Guard as a law enforcement agency for maritime law, emphasizing the importance of supporting the Yemeni Coast Guard to enable it to perform its missions in securing ports, protecting coastlines and territorial waters, combating maritime crimes and illegal activities, and conducting search and rescue operations, contributing to the protection of lives, international navigation, and regional stability.
The meeting, which was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, as part of the Yemeni Maritime Security Partnership (YMSP), was dedicated to reviewing efforts to develop professional capabilities and enhance maritime security for the Republic of Yemen during this critical phase.
