صُدمت الأوساط الفنية في الولايات المتحدة بأنباء العثور على نجم الأوبرا الأمريكي الشهير جوبيلانت سايكس مقتولاً داخل منزله في مدينة سانتا مونيكا، بعد تعرضه لعدة طعنات أودت بحياته على الفور، في جريمة تبدو وكأنها خارجة من فيلم درامي مظلم، لكنها حدثت هذه المرة على أرض الواقع.
