سُجّل اليوم (الأربعاء) زلزال بلغت قوته 5.7 درجة قبالة السواحل الشرقية لجزيرة هونشو اليابانية.
وأوضح المرصد الأوروبي المتوسطي لرصد الزلازل أن الهزة وقعت على عمق 31 كيلومترًا في البحر، مشيرًا إلى أنه كان قد قدّر في وقت سابق قوة الزلزال بـ 6.5 درجة قبل أن يُحدّث بياناته.
ولم ترد حتى الآن أي تقارير عن وقوع أضرار أو إصابات جرّاء الزلزال.
A 5.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded today (Wednesday) off the eastern coast of Japan's Honshu Island.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported that the quake occurred at a depth of 31 kilometers in the sea, noting that it had previously estimated the earthquake's magnitude at 6.5 before updating its data.
No reports of damage or injuries from the earthquake have been received so far.
