في تصريح مُثير، ألمح الإعلامي البارز عمرو أديب، مقدم برنامج «الحكاية» على قناة MBC مصر، اقتراب نهاية مسيرته المهنية الطويلة، مؤكداً أنه يعيش «آخر شهوره أو سنينه في العمل الإعلامي».
الإعلان جاء خلال حلقة من برنامجه الشهير يوم 2 نوفمبر، حيث قال أديب بلهجته المصرية المميزة: «أنا خلاص في آخر شهوري أو سنيني في العمل الإعلامي، عملت كل حاجة في الشغلانة وحققت أرقامًا محدش هيعملها، لو روحت موسوعة جينيس هيحطوني أكتر واحد قدم عدد ساعات برنامج توك شو في العالم كله، مش العالم العربي فقط».
مشوار عمرو أديب الإعلامي
أديب، البالغ من العمر 62 عاماً، بدأ مسيرته الإعلامية في التسعينيات كصحفي في جريدة «الأهرام»، ثم انتقل إلى الشاشة الفضائية مع برنامج «القاهرة اليوم» على شبكة أوربت في عام 2000، حيث حقق شهرة واسعة بأسلوبه الحواري الجريء والمباشر، تلاه برنامج «كل يوم» على قناة ON في 2017، قبل أن ينتقل إلى MBC مصر في 2018 ليقدم «الحكاية»، الذي يُعتبر أحد أكثر برامج التوك شو مشاهدة في المنطقة العربية.

وكان أديب قال في جلسة بالقمة العالمية للحكومات بدبي في فبراير 2025: «مهنة الإعلامي في العالم العربي ليست سهلة»، مشدداً على أن النجاح يأتي مع تحديات نفسية واجتماعية.

وفي سياق متصل، أثار أديب الجدل مراراً بكشفه عن أجره الخيالي في MBC، الذي يُعد الأعلى بين الإعلاميين العرب، ففي فبراير 2025، صرح خلال القمة العالمية للحكومات: «أنا بأخذ 2.5 مليون دولار في السنة، مش بقول كده فخرًا»، أي ما يعادل نحو 77 مليون جنيه مصري بسعر الصرف الحالي، أو نحو 210 آلاف دولار شهرياً.

The announcement came during an episode of his famous program on November 2, where Adib said in his distinctive Egyptian dialect: "I am in the last months or years of my media work; I have done everything in this job and achieved numbers that no one else will achieve. If I go to the Guinness World Records, they will list me as the person who has presented the most hours of talk shows in the whole world, not just the Arab world."

Adib, who is 62 years old, began his media career in the 1990s as a journalist at the "Al-Ahram" newspaper, then moved to television with the program "Cairo Today" on Orbit Network in 2000, where he gained wide fame for his bold and direct conversational style. This was followed by the program "Every Day" on ON channel in 2017, before he moved to MBC Masr in 2018 to present "Al-Hekaya," which is considered one of the most-watched talk shows in the Arab region.
