في واقعة طريفة تحولت إلى عنف في غضون دقائق، أدت مشاجرة نشبت داخل حفل خطوبة في مدينة منشأة القناطر بمحافظة الجيزة في مصر إلى إصابة ثلاثة أشخاص، بينهم شقيق العريس، بطعنات أداة حادة، بسبب ارتداء شقيق العريس زيًا يشبه «الغوريلا» أثناء الاحتفال.
الواقعة، التي وقعت مساء الإثنين هزت المنطقة وأثارت تفاعلًا واسعًا على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث انتشرت مقاطع فيديو تظهر الفوضى داخل قاعة الأفراح.
وفقًا للتحقيقات الأولية التي أجرتها النيابة العامة بشمال الجيزة، بدأت الحادثة عندما ارتدى شقيق العريس، البالغ من العمر 25 عامًا، زيًا كوميديًا يقلد «الغوريلا» كجزء من الترفيه في الحفل، ليثير ضحك المدعوين ويشارك في رقصات مع الأطفال الحاضرين.
لكن السائق «م. أ.» (30 عامًا)، أحد المدعوين، اعترض بشدة على هذا الزي، مدعيًا أنه «سيخيف الأطفال ويسبب لهم كوابيس»، مما أدى إلى مشادة كلامية حادة بينه وبين شقيق العريس وصديقين آخرين (أحدهما 28 عامًا والآخر 22 عامًا).
تطورت المشادة سريعًا إلى مشاجرة جسدية، حيث استخدم السائق أداة حادة (مشابهة لسكين) لطعن الثلاثة في أجزاء مختلفة من أجسادهم، بما في ذلك الذراع والساق والصدر، قبل أن يفر هاربًا من القاعة وسط صراخ النساء والأطفال.
وألقت القوات الأمنية القبض على المتهم «م. أ.» بعد ساعات قليلة في منطقة قريبة، بعد مطاردة استندت إلى شهادات الشهود وكاميرات المراقبة داخل القاعة، واعترف المتهم أثناء التحقيقات الأولية بأنه «فقد أعصابه» بسبب «الإزعاج الذي سببه الزي»، وأنه لم يقصد الإيذاء الشديد، لكنه أقر باستخدام الأداة الحادة دفاعًا عن نفسه، وتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية وتولت النيابة العامة التحقيق.
In a humorous incident that turned violent within minutes, a brawl that broke out during an engagement party in the city of Manşat al-Qanāṭir in Giza Governorate, Egypt, resulted in three people being injured, including the groom's brother, who suffered stab wounds from a sharp object due to the groom's brother wearing a costume resembling a "gorilla" during the celebration.
The incident, which occurred on Monday evening, shook the area and sparked widespread reactions on social media, as videos showing the chaos inside the wedding hall circulated.
According to the preliminary investigations conducted by the Public Prosecution in North Giza, the incident began when the groom's brother, aged 25, wore a comedic costume imitating a "gorilla" as part of the entertainment at the party, aiming to make the guests laugh and participate in dances with the attending children.
However, the driver "M. A." (30 years old), one of the guests, strongly objected to this outfit, claiming that it "would scare the children and cause them nightmares," which led to a heated verbal altercation between him and the groom's brother along with two other friends (one aged 28 and the other 22).
The verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical fight, during which the driver used a sharp object (similar to a knife) to stab the three in various parts of their bodies, including the arm, leg, and chest, before fleeing the hall amidst the screams of women and children.
The security forces arrested the suspect "M. A." a few hours later in a nearby area, following a chase based on witness testimonies and surveillance cameras inside the hall. The suspect confessed during the preliminary investigations that he "lost his temper" due to "the disturbance caused by the costume," and that he did not intend to cause severe harm, but he admitted to using the sharp object in self-defense. Legal action was taken, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
