ضرب زلزال بقوة 6.6 درجة على مقياس ريختر أمس جزيرة ماكواري الواقعة جنوب غرب المحيط الهادي.
وذكرت هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكي أن مركز الزلزال وقع على عمق 10 كم، عند التقاء دائرة عرض (57.72) درجة جنوبًا وخط طول (157.53) درجة شرقًا.
ولم ترد أنباء عن وقوع خسائر بشرية أو أضرار مادية جراء الزلزال.
A 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck Macquarie Island in the southwest Pacific Ocean yesterday.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the earthquake's epicenter was at a depth of 10 km, at the intersection of latitude (57.72) degrees south and longitude (157.53) degrees east.
No reports of casualties or material damage have been received as a result of the earthquake.
