في واقعة صادمة شهدتها محافظة البحيرة شمالي مصر، لفظ سائق قطار المناشي أحمد صلاح رياض، البالغ من العمر 43 عاما، أنفاسه الأخيرة بهدوء ودون مقدمات وهو على مقعده داخل كابينة القيادة، وذلك في محطة سكة حديد التحرير بمركز بدر صباح الجمعة، حيث توقف القطار فجأة دون مقدمات بمحطة التحرير، ما أثار قلق الركاب الذين هرعوا إلى كابينة القيادة ليكتشفوا أن السائق قد فارق الحياة إثر إغماء مفاجئ نتيجة أزمة قلبية، فيما أنقذت العناية الإلهية الموقف من كارثة محققة كان يمكن أن تحدث لو استمر القطار في الحركة.
ووفقاً لتصريحات مساعد سائق القطار، لاحظ توقف القطار بشكل غير متوقع بمحطة التحرير، وعندما اقترب من كابينة القيادة، وجد السائق أحمد صلاح رياض فاقداً للوعي، وتم نقل السائق على الفور إلى مستشفى بدر المركزي، حيث أكد الأطباء وفاته نتيجة هبوط حاد في الدورة الدموية تسبب في أزمة قلبية مفاجئة.
وتولت النيابة العامة التحقيق في الواقعة، وأمرت بتشريح الجثمان لتحديد أسباب الوفاة بدقة، فيما أشادت مصادر محلية بيقظة مساعد السائق والركاب التي ساهمت في تجنب حادثة خطيرة.

The Public Prosecution has taken over the investigation into the incident and ordered an autopsy to accurately determine the cause of death, while local sources praised the vigilance of the assistant driver and the passengers, which helped avoid a serious accident.
