نشرت الشرطة الأميركية، (الثلاثاء)، مقطع فيديو لمطاردة مثيرة، إذ حاولت سياراتها اللحاق بمركبة هاربة قبل وقوع حادث سير كبير.
ووقعت الحادثة التي تشبه مطاردات أفلام «هوليوود»، الخميس، في مقاطعة مونتغمري بولاية أوهايو.
وحسب التفاصيل التي أوردتها وسائل إعلام أمريكية، حاولت السلطات إيقاف شاحنة بدون لوحة تسجيل ظاهرة، ففر سائقها وبدأت المطاردة التي وثقتها كاميرا مسيّرة أمنية.
وكان شخص ما في صندوق المركبة الهاربة يلقي ألواحاً خشبية على الطريق، في محاولة لعرقلة سيارات الشرطة التي كانت تتبعه.
وانحرفت المركبة لاحقاً إلى الجانب الآخر من الطريق السريع منطلقة عكس اتجاه السير بسرعة عالية، فاصطدمت بسيارة أخرى وجهاً لوجه، وتسببت في حادث مروع بين 6 سيارات.
وفي النهاية حاول 4 أشخاص في المركبة الفرار سيراً على الأقدام، لكن ألقي القبض عليهم.
وتسببت حادثة التصادم في عدة إصابات غير مهددة للحياة، بينما وجهت تهم للمشتبه بهم منها حيازة المخدرات والاعتداء الجسيم بالمركبة.
The American police released a video on Tuesday of a thrilling chase, as their vehicles attempted to catch up with a fleeing vehicle before a major traffic accident occurred.
The incident, resembling a Hollywood chase scene, took place on Thursday in Montgomery County, Ohio.
According to details reported by American media, authorities attempted to stop a truck with no visible license plate, prompting the driver to flee, leading to a pursuit that was captured by a security drone.
Someone in the back of the fleeing vehicle was throwing wooden planks onto the road in an attempt to obstruct the police cars that were following.
The vehicle later veered onto the opposite side of the highway, speeding against oncoming traffic, and collided head-on with another car, causing a horrific accident involving six vehicles.
In the end, four people from the vehicle attempted to flee on foot, but they were apprehended.
The collision resulted in several non-life-threatening injuries, while charges were filed against the suspects, including drug possession and aggravated assault with a vehicle.
