تتواصل أعمال تجهيز ملعب أرامكو في مدينة الخبر، تمهيداً لافتتاحه المتوقع قبل نهاية عام 2026، ضمن مشروع رياضي وترفيهي متعدد الاستخدامات يقع في المنطقة الشرقية، ويستهدف استضافة المنافسات والفعاليات الرياضية الكبرى خلال السنوات القادمة.
ويقع الملعب ضمن مجمع تبلغ مساحته أكثر من 800 ألف متر مربع، ويجري تطويره وفق معايير المنشآت الرياضية الدولية، مع تزويده بنظام تكييف كامل، تمهيداً لاستضافة مباريات ضمن بطولتي كأس آسيا 2027 وكأس العالم لكرة القدم 2034.
ويضم الملعب مرافق مخصصة للضيافة تشمل نحو 1700 مقعد موزعة على 39 مساحة، إلى جانب 7 خيارات للضيافة، تتضمن مقصورات وصالات لكبار الشخصيات ومرافق مخصصة للزوار.
وكانت شركة ملعب أرامكو قد أعلنت في وقت سابق تشكيل مجلس إدارتها الجديد، في إطار التحضير للمرحلة القادمة من تطوير المشروع والإشراف على خططه التشغيلية.
ومن المتوقع أن يركز مجلس الإدارة خلال المرحلة القادمة على استكمال جاهزية الملعب، وتطوير البرامج التشغيلية، واستقطاب الفعاليات الرياضية والترفيهية، بما يتوافق مع مستهدفات المشروع.
The preparation works for the Aramco Stadium in Khobar continue, in anticipation of its expected opening before the end of 2026, as part of a multi-use sports and entertainment project located in the Eastern Province, aimed at hosting major sports competitions and events in the coming years.
The stadium is part of a complex that spans more than 800,000 square meters and is being developed according to international sports facility standards, equipped with a full air conditioning system, in preparation for hosting matches in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup and the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
The stadium includes dedicated hospitality facilities with approximately 1,700 seats distributed across 39 areas, in addition to 7 hospitality options, including suites and lounges for VIPs and facilities designated for visitors.
Aramco Stadium Company had previously announced the formation of its new board of directors, as part of the preparations for the next phase of project development and overseeing its operational plans.
The board is expected to focus in the upcoming phase on completing the stadium's readiness, developing operational programs, and attracting sports and entertainment events, in line with the project's objectives.
