تُوِّج الفارس فيصل العصيمي بطلًا لسباق كأس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية للقدرة والتحمل، الذي أُقيم اليوم في محافظة العُلا، حيث نظّمت الهيئة الملكية لمحافظة العُلا السباق بالشراكة مع الاتحاد السعودي للفروسية، وأُقيم على مسافة 120 كيلومترًا مقسّمة على 4 مراحل.
وجاء فوز العصيمي رفقة الجواد «دوق» بمعدل سرعة بلغ 23.142 كم/ساعة، بعد منافسة قوية مع الفارس حسن بامانع، الذي حلّ ثانيًا بفارق 28 ثانية فقط عن المتصدر، وبلغ معدل سرعته 23.108 كم/ساعة على الفرس «DJALIK DE FIGNOLS». أما المركز الثالث فكان من نصيب الفارس عبدالعزيز السيالي على الجواد «GAIA DE MORGANE» وبمعدل سرعة 22.148 كم/ساعة.
وشهد السباق تنافسًا قويًا بين الفرسان المشاركين منذ انطلاقته في الساعة السابعة صباحًا، حيث قدّموا مستويات مميزة وسط تضاريس العُلا الخلابة وتنوّع مسارات السباق.
وإلى جانب السباق الرئيسي، أُقيم سباق دولي لمسافة 100 كيلومتر، وسباقان تأهيليان محليان لمسافة 40 و80 كيلومتراً.
Rider Faisal Al-Oseimi was crowned champion of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee Cup endurance race, which took place today in Al-Ula Governorate. The Royal Commission for Al-Ula organized the race in partnership with the Saudi Equestrian Federation, and it was held over a distance of 120 kilometers divided into 4 stages.
Al-Oseimi's victory alongside the horse "Duke" came with an average speed of 23.142 km/h, after a strong competition with rider Hassan Bamane, who finished second just 28 seconds behind the leader, with an average speed of 23.108 km/h on the mare "DJALIK DE FIGNOLS." The third place went to rider Abdulaziz Al-Siyali on the horse "GAIA DE MORGANE," with an average speed of 22.148 km/h.
The race witnessed fierce competition among the participating riders from the start at 7 AM, as they delivered impressive performances amidst the stunning landscapes of Al-Ula and the variety of race tracks.
In addition to the main race, an international race over a distance of 100 kilometers was held, along with two local qualifying races of 40 and 80 kilometers.
