«الأرصاد»: برودة شديدة شمال ووسط المملكة

The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Saturday) cold to very cold weather in the northern and central regions of the Kingdom, as well as in the highlands of the Makkah and Al-Baha regions, with a chance of fog and frost forming during the night and early morning hours in parts of those areas. Meanwhile, the effect of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of the Eastern Province, as well as in parts of the regions of Tabuk, Madinah, and Makkah, especially along the coastal areas.

The center indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be from the northeast to the north at a speed of 15-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and from the northwest to the southwest at a speed of 10-25 km/h in the southern part. The wave height will range from one to two meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one meter in the southern part, with the sea condition being light to moderate waves in the northern and central parts and light waves in the southern part.

In the Arabian Gulf, the surface wind movement will be from the west to the northwest at a speed of 20-40 km/h, reaching over 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds bringing rain. The wave height will range from one to two meters, reaching over two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds bringing rain, and the sea condition will be light to moderate waves, becoming choppy with the formation of thunderstorm clouds bringing rain.
